I do not think about selling. the market has corrected itself. I think it will proceed in this way. I only sell to build the infrastructure of another project.
It all depends on the situation on the market and on what kind of coin I hold. If the market is unstable as of now, then I hold the coins until the market recovers.
I lost some money in cryptos thanks to some shit coins like BTG, ZCL and BTCP. However I have learnt a lot from my experiences, also I haven't sold these shit coins yet I still beileve that it coukd rise one day and reduce my losses to atleast half. You need to be able to sell a coin in time.
Everyone with their own principle actually, just do whichever suits you more.
I agree. The decision depends on a number of factors like :
1) Target: If you invested with the target of 100% returns and it is achieved in less than a month, you should sell the coins. Not my approach.
2) Sudden circumstances: Sometimes there can be some problems all of sudden. Like if your country makes laws against crypto, you will have to sell may be in loss.
I think selling my coins I will sell this winter I now buy a lot of coins while they are on a low price and then I will expect a lot of growth

If I invested in a short term, then I sell coins when the price has risen by about 30-40% or more.
I now hold ETH so I'm waiting for the market to recover completely and the price will rise to $ 1000 and then I will sell the coins.
From my experience so far you can sell your altcoin when ETH and bitcoin are moving up that is you sell when you sell the market is showing green. Also know that holding a coin for a very long time can also make you loss your money so I will advice you not to be greedy, always have a particular price you what to sell but mind if the price sell higher than that.

Buying altcoins at lower price. I sell those coins when i think i got 20% profit. That was huge enough for me and that was the time to sell those altcoins. Sometimes when i buy i got loss when the value of it goes down then that is also the time i will sell my coins.
Now I will sell coins no sooner than when the market recovers and the price of coins increases significantly.
To me I decided to sell my Altcoins when I see that it surpass the value of my required amount value in the market to sell my Altcoins to received the profit I want to my investments to make more earnings. And I think it is more effective than waiting it for too long and I don't like predicting the value of my Altcoins that I want to sell in that year it makes me lose on focus in my Altcoins in achieving my goals.
Its time to sell your Altcoin when the market is rising because you will get plenty of profit, but make sure your altcoin is in the list of the top altcoin or have potential, so you sure that you'll get from it. Selling immediately when market is dumping is not good idea, so its better to wait until market is rapidly rising to make sure you will get from it. Also it better to know the market situation before you sell to avoid getting less profit.

I agree. Usually, you'd sell when the coin is incurring too much loss you can't afford from the initial bought price or when there are clearly better alctoincs than the current ones with a stagnant trend. You can have a profit limit, and a stop loss limit.

In my case, I do consider the market volume when deciding whether to sell or not. If the volume is still high, there's a huge tendency that the market value will rise and profit will be earned from holding and waiting. But if not, selling will be a good idea since it can be considered as a dead coin especially if it is having low market value, and zero volume.

I usually sell when the price has started up, and wait for the price of the coin to drop its buy back at a cheap price. the results are pretty good than we wait continuously
