I did told myself to sell my bitcoins when i hit 6 to 7 bitcoins, though when its price is really going up high and really crazy i dont know if i want to sell it or maybe just convert it and buy some things. Though i do really want to sell some.
So you are collecting bitcoins? What are your ways?
Me, I have been doing bounty and trading at the same time, I don't based on the number of bitcoins I will collect but on the value
of bitcoin, if this will go $100K each then I think it's a good timing to sell.
Some people not have enough time to mastering all job like doing bounty and trading, So I think it's the best way is just invest, buy now then Hold it for long time, and sell when the price is suitable for us.

Some of my altcoins are good for longterm holding so I will not sell it for the moment but I usually put a target price maybe around 25 -50% or more then once they reached the target price then its time to sell.

This is not the right time for selling coins because the price value is falling. Ofcourse you should know when to sell but for now just hold and wait for increase. If you sell now you will get a big loss of income. At this market we need to have patient in waiting.

Market fluctuate with cycle, if you acute and active investors. Common sense, is take profit when it at the top. and buy at the low.But it is rather hard then saying. Human are greedy and ruled by emotions. So FUDs and Fomos always works..

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
For the moment I have absolutely no plans to sell all the coins I have. I will hold it until the price is really high and I will get multiple benefits. I will not sell the coins I have at the low price. I do not want to feel the loss so I have to be more patient to wait for all the coin prices to go up one by one.
I also have still decided to hold my bitcoin and not to sell it, i do not think that the current is the best time for selling bitcoin, specially for those people who bought bitcoin at its peak, i think that they should not lose heart and should wait for some more time because very soon they will see the bitcoin price trading again that price. Therefore they should wait patiently for some more time.

As of now, I am not planning to sell my bitcoin and altcoins that I have because I still want to hold it until it reaches its maximum high value. Because this past few weeks the value of cryptocurrency is getting down.

Yeah don't know any specific exit point or a certain price to sell at. I'm going to sell my bitcoins when the price has increased a lot and then the price has started decreasing. At the moment when the price is starting to decrease significantly, that's when I would sell my coins. And then buy later when the price decreased have stopped.

It's not everyday or every week that you can do this strategy. I always end up selling at whichever price bitcoin is when I need money in real life. But since the price isn't moving that much today and I don't see any major future expenses, I'm not planning on selling any time soon.

That's the right thing to do, do not be greedy when you have the opportunity to sell with a profit.
Being greedy will not gonna give us good result in the future, that is because the market is very unpredictable, it does not guarantee success.

Can't blame us, there were times when my greediness kicks in, I just couldn't control it. My emotion of being happy gives me a positive outcome and be exaggerated optimistic when I thought that there's still more profit than what my targets are. I'm an adventure type of investor/trader and with this kind of market being unpredictable, you just can't fully rely on research, data, and development. All you have to do is trust your intuition and be fearless when making a decision even it is associated with some risk.

I would sell my coin when prices again up more than the purchase price. The price has dropped significantly, currently, so I am not selling anything for now.
Usually, I sell my coin exchange Idex +kucoin + etherdelta + livecoin etc.

For me, if I don’t really need money I will not going to sell, I want to double or triple my money. My plan is to hold for a long time hopes that many people invest in bitcoin, many will use it so that the demand for it will going to increase and so the value will increase too. I'm just going sell if I really need money like in emergency cases only(cross finger). Hopes that nothing bad happens. And when I'm going to invest in something good like mining rig that we all know that is expensive.

Don't worry to hold bitcoin for a long time, many of people is supporting of bitcoins and bitcoin is great investment too
better to buy bitcoin than buy the tools mining. I guess.

I sold mine at 1020$. I guess I was a bit hasty about my decision. I just couldn't risk the possibily of a huge dump from 1000's to 800's. A dump like that recently happened and I was mad at myself for not selling above 1000's. So i did it this time. Smiley
If you can't handle the risk/votality, or you need money then sell your Bitcoin to prevent you selling it at lower price. However, if you can handle it and you used that money to get profit without doing something but to wait, then hold your Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a future to rise up more since it's being introduce or it is currently reviewing buy government to use it as decentralized mode of payment that would be endorsed/support by them.
There is no specific time of buying and selling. Everyone have different goal to reach the price where they want to sell their coins and how much stack they will spend. Personally i used doubling price strategy, which i sell on the price where i buy it with double amount, do repeatly, but there are also have an obstacles, where the price move to a specific point or its suitable for me than I decide when we want to buy/sell.

But, As specifically of bitcoin, i think its time is good to hold your bitcoin for the next year and i will selling my bitcoin to the next year when bitcoin price increase to 25000$ then i will sell it and then i again buy bitcoin in high amount with low price and i will get a big profit in good amount to the next year.

For me, I want to sell my bitcoin/altcoin when the price of the coins i am holding will be increase very high and to earn more profits of it. When the price of ethereum and bitcoin is will be going to increase very high i will surely sell it and buy another coins that has a lower price with a bright future. But i must have to be wise on choosing what coins that i have yo invest or trade.

All of us when we first have put our first money into a coin when we have invested some in early phases (Pre-ICO or ICO) or within first months/years after being released we have make a plan and a strategy when should we sell these assets and we set a goal, for example we set a goal that if this coin/token price reaches x2 we will sell, and after a period of time we see that the price has reached x2 and was unexpected but we expect more, we expect x3, x4 and so on and we don't stop thinking being millionaire with a small amount of money and end up selling for cheap. Best is to make a backup plan and planing to invest somewhere else if we reached the ROI.

I think that at the moment you should sell the bitcoin, in order to have a precise milestone for sale, you need to have a specific trading plan before commencing trade, , benchmark and support benchmarks to be able to pinpoint specific selling and buying points. Your salesman should have a daily expectation of how much profit.

It's unthinkable to sell bitcoin, I'll save it first and will sell it at the right time. Moreover, there is the possibility that bitcoin will increase again, and that's when I will sell it for a lot of profit. Even if I was required to sell bitcoin, it was because of the emergency to be met immediately and required to sell it, but not all of them only partially.

Why ever sell?
The world is transitioning out of physical currency. Swedens total transactions in actual cash according to their central bank were only 2% last year. Stores there are legally allowed to deny cash and most banks don't even carry it. Atms have disappeared there like phone booths.
They recalled all large denominations of ruppees in India literally overnight. Claiming it would be harder for criminals to operate with out them. People had to line up at banks for hours across the spam of multiple weeks to change out their larger denominations for legally smaller ones.

How much life left do you think the petro dollar has before the rest of the world says we no longer want to pay for oil with US dollars? When that happens what will you want to be holding
