Unfortunately I sold most of mu bitcoins when its previous record was achieved, around $1250 because I thought that would be an importan resistance level, and I confirmed it when its price dropped to $900 again, but since that correction the price has only grown every day more and more. Nowadays I have decided not to sell a single satoshi for a long time, although perhaps I have made that decision a little late.
Current price is very good in my opinion. And I have sold most of bitcoin in my wallet ..

although you have your own thoughts, but to me i think you made a mistake i think it was still time to sell. as the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing and it is expected that in next few moths the price of bitcoin is going to cross 2000 USD level therefore it was important to hold and not to sell bitcoin. I trade bitcoin with a profit target that is not big. I just live it, as long as profit then I close order. I'm not sorry if it turns out bitcoin prices continue to rise, while I've sold it at a low price. But I am grateful to always get a profit even if calculated percentage of course small.
i think it is natural, when you just a miss a chance of making more money, but i think if you are earning money then the price do not matter you too much but if you have invested your own money and the you miss a chance the it really matter and you must be wishing to get that chance and not let it go. 
I' m holding as long as I can. I want the price of bitcoins to get as high as possible before I sell so I can make the maximum profit.

Be patient and you will receive a well and worth reward later .
As long as you did not really need money urgently , better to keep holding until at least your bitcoin worth 1 million dollar.
And the rest of it to put on the long term investment .

That is frankly a good strategy to keep yourself always on the profit side but without risk you wont be able to get the maximum income, It is better to be alert and sell some of your coins at the maximum price, that will yield you more money.

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
As of now, I can't tell. Since what I can see in bitcoin, it would rise up its value again as I seen bifury snd sec would help bitcoin's market. As I also known that Russia and Japan would start using bitcoin in their countru which will make it harder for bitcoin to volatile as China has no superior power than before. I am more than sure that the bitcoin will reach very soon 1800 usd . Also if we see the last stats , the bitcoin is in a continuous growth .
Change your target price, bitcoin will reach $2,000 very soon that $1,800 usd price for bitcoin is too easy for bitcoin to reach if you look at the current price now we are currently around $1,500 and most of us are shocked and amazed because we expect that the price will reach to that point in the middle of the year but it came up early so i think the $2,000 mark will be on an early too.
I saw the price recently it went high up to $1,584 and I thought it can make it easily to $1,600 but upon checking it again the price was down at $1,484 and it went up again fast to $1,524. Right now I don't plan to sell, when this price keeps on becoming stronger. I believe that there's more to come and that will be the time I'll sell.
I usually follow other people's trading pattern. On exchanger sites I usually chat on the box and let know how to trade. But what I understand is just exit when you are on the way to loose money. Lol.

That is good for long term investments in bitcoin, for me i always have plan to sell and buy back bitcoin because my active income in bitcoin was from trading altcoins,

Same here, I have sold some of my bitcoin and I have still almost half left because I feel it will still go upward. I just read in cointelegraph that 'SEC Approves Quadruple ETFs While Mulling Bitcoin, Ethereum' , I think it has a positive feedback on Bitcoin and others.

Take the advantage of pump and dump. Sell 10-20% every time when you see a good pump and buy back when the price dumps again. This is less riskier and you can make some profit from these fluctuations.

I'm in it for the long run, which means I probably would not sell before 2020.
Its a good plan mate and I hope you won't sell because there will be halving in the next couple of years so holding till 2020 is a good idea. Because when the halving occurs, bitcoin will be more scare so the price will soon reaches new ATH and if you buy it low and hold on it, you are definitely in for a good profit run yourself. I hope you can stick your plan mate and no circumstances will force you to sell your bitcoin.
