I already sold some BTC and I'm pretty happy that I did because of the fact that there is a chance that there will occur a crash soon.

I always appreciate when people (including newbies) make their own decision when it comes to investments. Relying on others opinion or information might cause a loss so it is none other than a gamble. You sold your bitcoins when price was on the peak and you made profits and now you can decide should you buy bitcoins again at lower price or not.
I believe there will not be any wrong in depending on others for making some decision about buying and selling bitcoins. Because relying on others like a group of people will be getting us some predictable price movement based decisions.

Personally I like to suggest everyone not to have any plan to sell instead of that, plan up to use your bitcoin for your future.

It might prove beneficial for one time or two or three times but how long someone should remain dependent? I think if someone has some money to invest then he should spend his equal time in order to conduct research. Investing money would give you one time returns but investing time would give you constant returns.

I planned to sell at $1,100 but seems that was far away now. I missed my opportunity and this was probably because of greed. I hoped the price would rise to higher than $1,100 and then it just suddenly dropped back to $800 which is really sad and my heart just dropped. I look forward to the price rising again and probably I should sell faster.
Same here, I saw 2 or 3 days back night it was $1150+ I thought to send my coins I opened my wallet before selling coins I checked one more time It raised nearly 1170$. I thought next day it might go 1200+, so I decided to sell next day. But next day morning it drops to 1000$ now it's 800$. This is greed problem we can not do anything for this, it's human nature that's it. If I see 1000$ in coming days, i will sell my coins will not wait for a long time.

When you are here for quick money, then you sell for some percents.

I will sell after 10 years. What i buy now i will never sell in the next 10 years.
I hope we will see 50.000 - 100.000 Dollar for 1 Bitcoin in 2026.
I really do not understand why you guys are expecting a 10000 dollars per coin, don't you think it is greedy prediction to say the least. For the sake of argument lets say the price of bitcoin will touch 10k how would you be able to deal with fiat if the prices soars to those levels and who is going to spend money to get those coins, have some realistic value even with wild predictions.

At least the price of bitcoin will be stabilizing on $1000 and that's better than being a bubble. Some were giving unrealistic wishes. That's a troll. Just watch about the facts and follow that, where it goes.

Since I like to be constantly moving the money, I have never had problems with selling or buying bitcoins at any time since the transactions that I do are always to satisfy a specific need, although of course I always try to to hold some coins in my wallet thinking about tomorrow.

Same here, I do trading with altcoin to BTC, and selling a cryptocurrency to another cryptocurrency is done whenever I see that I will get profit from the trade not instantly but on the long run.  But there are also some holding I consider as short term investmetn and that is investing in ICO and exit the moment I see a profit from my investment.  Basically that is the basice ideal in an ICO.

I do sell whenever I see the target profit regardless of the price of the item.

I'm not sure how long you will remain happier for your actions of selling bitcoins at current times. I just see this fall as a trap. Even you have not sold your bitcoins, when if you will see bitcoin prices again at $1100+ levels definitely you will sell off. But any future rally will surely land bitcoins into $2000+ zones. If this happen then this fall definitely a trap just to make you to lose your hopes.

there is a chance that there will occur a crash soon.
I do not see any possible crash hereafter. Prices are sustaining around $900. It means it may test again $1000 at any time.

i am still holding my bitcoin in my wallet and i am waiting for more than $1100 and i think i can sell it half of my bitcoin. so i think i will waiting for another moment as i see in the exchanges, the price is somewhere in $1049, let see how long the price will be increase more.
good idea to hold your bitcoin because i also holding my bitcoin for the future because bitcoin will be surely increasing its price to more than $1500 in few months so holding bitcoin is much more profitable and we know that bitcoin future will be more rise and bright .
holding bitcoin in the present time is really a good idea. and there is no doubt about it, the price is trading in a high price no doubt this  still it has the ability to reach to its all  time high vale and hope very soon bitcoin is going to reach to its all time high price.

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?

I always sell my bitcoins at the wrong time. Angry

I`m always afraid of a price collapse and i sell my btc too fast.

I usually sell all my bitcoin savings after i reach a sertain amount.
Being afraid and emotion would really affect you out when you are trading bitcoin.Theres no perfect entry or exit on bitcoin.Selling would really depend on the decision of the holder because some still holds for long term and just waiting for a particular price before they sell off their coins.

If you bought at $450 6 months ago its time to sell for 120% pure profits. holding more will be more challenging just keep watching the market and make sure to exit before the price plummet

The number of people here who have bought at least 1 and have kept it ever since are still few. And isn't it better to just keep it as an asset since the price will not get low that much from the current price so it is impossible to get a huge profit from it if you sell it and buy again.

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
Well I do not think that Bitcoin will touch $1000 because there is lot of selling pressure at the moment so I wanted to sell my coin today at mid night. I think most of people will sell their Bitcoin for 31 December/new year party expenses, every one wanted to enjoy their earned money.

Yes many people wants to add extra budget for their new year expenses so it is okay to thing that many people plans to sell them but it is also the same for some people who wants to buy now as an investment since christmas has passed. Some people might probably have enough money to buy one.

I strongly suggest that bitcoin at first is a currency and secondly is an asset. So every time I  use btcs I am in and out. But for people think bitcoin is a commodity the time to sell depends when they had bought the most of their coins. Imo people bought their coins one year or more ago and had as barrier the $1000 have already sold at least the half of their stash the previous month.
