What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?

I am trading on Yobit only, this is where I buy and sell all the coins I'm trading my exit point is when I made 40% of the coins I'm trading,I'm a very cautious trader I make sure that I am always updated on the coin that I'm trading and I seldom engage in pump and dump activity.
Yes you are doing right but when compared with other big exchanges like polo, bittrex they have quite large volumes when compared to yobit. I here many people are saying yobit has all shitcoin only dumping and pumping coins. But according to yobit you cannot make large profits, where as you need to pay more attention to the coins in order to make little profits.

Timing is everything, now is not the right time to sell, we see how the price is still going and that reality make us excited to sell for greater profit but we have to remember that patience is virtue and if you want to gain more you need to gamble with the future.
For an active trader, the patience is a profit killer. Just based on the profits ratio I like to keep on selling and buying back in this rally. Yes always want to cover up all ups and downs to maximize profit in this fluctuations.

We have been here for long and have witnessed how the market move, wait for the right time until the price will start to drop then hit the sell button.
Right time ? I guess even a ten years experienced professional trader also will be missing that. Just before the turning point is the right time imho. Still we all will miss that most of the times.

I'm in it for the long haul. I truly believe in bitcoin so I don't plan on selling any time soon, if ever at all.

Well I do not think that Bitcoin will touch $1000 because there is lot of selling pressure at the moment so I wanted to sell my coin today at mid night. I think most of people will sell their Bitcoin for 31 December/new year party expenses, every one wanted to enjoy their earned money.

i think i will sell when the price of bitcoin is reach in up to $1000 and maybe i will hold it for a while until i can see that the time is come for me to sell my bitcoin. and for new year, i think the price is not going to go up into $1000, but i don't know what will going on in the exchanges.

There is a high chance of Bitcoins getting cheaper for large number of peoples will be wanting to sell them, so its tough to reach $1000. If it does best is to watch for few days, maximum week or two and then sell them.
Personally I would like to sell few BTC immediately if it touches $1000, or few days after New Year.

There is some trepidation and excitement for the New Year. I keep wondering, "Is it a bubble?" or "will it continue to rise?"
Regardless, I am planning to sell about 30 - 50%. The rest will be held forever.  Grin Grin

I'm okay with the current price, and if it's a bubble then that'll just mean it's a good time to buy when the dust finally settles.
On the other hand, if it continues to rise then, I'd still have the 50%.  Grin I'm not too much of risk taker.  haha.  Cheesy
And I really enjoy using my coins. Of course, there'll be some regrets but, that's just how life is. Can't always have it both ways.

That's good, but right now you cannot make calculations of profit margin. Just buying and selling at a little increased price seems to be effective, because when we plan to sell at particular price and hold. We might be the one to loss , because price goes close to the particular price and falls steeply, as everything with bitcoin is unpredictable.

I plan to sell when the price of bitcoin is around 10,000 dollars. But that may seem really far fetched but I think it might happen but not in the near future. Bitcoins doesn't have enough supply to supplement the demand for bitcoins of the whole world. Maybe we will all be millionaires when this happens but it would be really far away. Or... the price would really plummet and never come back up and we all lose interest in bitcoins. Who knows...
Ii is with no doubt that we all want to sell bitcoin at a price of 10000 $ but that is not achievable in the near future, and it is true that the bitcoin is limited but who knows maybe in the future a new technology will allow us to have more bitcoin and then what ?  the price of the bitcoin will fall and it will be a waste so we should not be greedy.

I think the best move either is to hold for the long term or just sell all if you can profit more than $50 on each bitcoin. but for most people there wont be any significant gain even if they sell all they got, I'd hold on to my bitcoins at least for another 5 years and will try to accumulate more and more over time.
Holding for 5 years does really require strong discipline on yourself not to spend those bitcoin for a longer period of time.It depends on a certain person if he doesnt need too much support from bitcoin earnings then its a good choice to hold off but for some like me i cant really save up too much for long term since i do use it always. Planning to sell bitcoin is just for investors and trader.

In my view, Now it is good time to sell the bitcoins, and i have sold my bitcoins but still i hold some bitcoins, because bitcoin price unpredictable, can't understand to sell the bitcoins right time. Because many time it confusing us, that's why now i want suggest should hold the bitcoins for a short time and look after the price than definitely we can gain more money for bitcoin.

I have started to sell my coins from $950 price as i know that their is a very strong selling support near $1000 so as soon as we can see the price we will be seeing the sellers dumping the coins. And as per my view it is always a good selling on the rise as their will be sure some correction of price that time we can enter back

It may now be the right time to sell bitcoin because prices are rising so fast, but if you want to hold back some time again it does not matter because the price will continue to rise for some time to come. If I now sell my bitcoin since this was already past my target. And I've been satisfied since my target has been reached. I sell entire bitcoin that is intentionally for me hold until prices rise.

short answer is never!
but if I see a sudden surge and also prices above $1000 I will sell some small amounts to get some money and celebrate with it. although I prefer to do it directly with bitcoin, as in going out and spending bitcoin directly but I would be satisfied with selling and using the money too.
other than that I am going to keep holding my coins.

But fact answer is everyone use to sell their bitcoins every week or month once they received from the campaign managers. Atleast some part of the people will do, as much I know. As you said holding would be best option if you aim for big profit or long term investment.
