Is simple . I recommend you to buy btc and hold them long long long time . And by long long time i mean to keep them minimum 5-6 years if you want to have a goood profit . If you bought 7 years ago bitcoins in value of 5 usd , actually you could have more than 4 millions dollars
If you want small profits , then go trading on low time , but also you need 1 btc minimum if you wanna feel the profit
Buy low and sell high . And always you need to follow the chart and to be updated with last news about that coin

Happy trading bro

Of course i will sell when bitcoin prices start to look ascending. Looks now  bitcoin price was declining, i'm using it as an good opportunity to buy bitcoin and wait until it arrives when it's time to sell it as the price of bitcoin is predicted to rise again. Hopefully my prediction is good correcly.

It's not really declining. Btc has been quite steady at it's current rate with very minimal fluctuations. Though i agree woth you that it's good to buy btcs now, if you've been holding since last year, it's not a bad time to sell now. But yeah you may be missing out on something big soon if you do that

It's better to wait for now rather than selling it and the price of bitcoin is steady now from $2400-$2600 but i doubt it will stay there. Maybe it will clinch above 2600 and we can see a $3000.

I'm thinking if I sell now my bitcoin but when I review the bitcoin price I was think that is not the time to sell I just need to buy bitcoin because I was not satisfied to the value of this Coins now. I believe that after this month bitcoin were raising up again and I'll wait it.

Its better to wait right now as the price of BTC is volatile and can move towards any end. Best thing is to do to keep all your BTC in a wallet and think about selling it after segwit integration. I put limits to my selling and buying with some checkpoints and will use bot if it is necessary.

Normally, I sell when I see profit in more than 10 % comparing my buy price and sell price. However at times, I sell at break even if I anticipate rate to depreciate further. The most important point is I won't sell at a lost, I will just hold till break even price.

you should always seek for specific target when you are doing any kind of investment..your problem is mostly because there are not legit information about any coins out there..so when your target is fullfill than you should sell.
Yeah you have a good point. Before you sell, you should know all the information about the token that you holds. You should also observe the progress of your token if it is rising up or going down.
I think it would be more appropriate to know the information before buying, normally we can always sell anytime we want but make sure we are selling for a profit. Education is really important in investing, we cannot rely to anyone to do the decision for us, it should be coming for us and with education there is a big chances that we can make a good decision most of the time.

Well i agree. But sometimes you have to react. There will be times when you'll exceed your target and there will be times as well when you have to sell beforenyour target is reached. There won't always be big profits so make sure your targets are realiatic and reachable. But whatever you do don't sell if it's below your entry point.

I sell as an when required as i am dependent on bitcoin income for my family expenses, only 20% maximum i keep for long term investment balance i convert it to fiat currency as and when i require or when i think that the price is high and do small trading and get profit.
Its hard when you are 100% depending on bitcoin with your living. I do sell also when there's a need but most of the time I hold. And when the price is low I wont sell it anyway because I regret seeing the price of bitcoin at low. But when there is really no choice, I force myself to sell if theres a need.

It should be like that, sometimes we always forget to spend all the results of our sweat, and never think to invest. Even though only 10-20% that we save. It is very valuable in long-term investment. Besides we can get profit from market treading!

I will sell half or 1/4  of my bitcoin if the price will be at 3500 usd then i will wait again if the bitcoin rise to 5000 usd and the remaining portion of my btc is for keeping purposes. Hoping bitcoin will reach another milestone.
Thats good idea if bitcoin reach $3500 sell only  1/4 of bitcoin . Me I will sell my other bitcoin when the price reach $5000 and I think it will happen before the end of this year 2017 and my other bitcoin will sell for future purposes also. I have shorterm and for longterm investment. I hope bitcoin price will continue to increase so we can make a lot of money.

When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?
Well it depends on my style of trading. I do both short term and long term trading. In ling term trading, earning 20%+ profit is ennough for me to sell while in short term, 2% profit is decent for me to eliminate the risk.

That is also what was advised to me when I was just starting to trade by a friend who's been there for a long time. It  actually works though I'm more in to the long term 20% trading rather than the short term because I still become a bit anxious when I do short term trades and I often make mistakes especially if the pump and dump becomes a bit fast paced
