The best time to spend (not sell) is when you're deep into a bull market, like now.

I spend regardless of what the price is, because I buy in regularly with my spare fiat.

When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?
I would sell my coins when I think it's enough for me and I think I gain what I want,
It is basically the % of the profit but sometimes its also the amount of sats that I am aiming,
Just sell when you are satisfied with the profit you are going to gain or if you think that the coin wouldn't recover and continue to fall.

As a business trader of any kind specially when talking about crypto currency like this in line with bitcoi's purpose of money making, I will sell when that coins I've been holding at an exact timing that will benefit me with profitable amount. That's a good idea of selling what is left after saving,  like as you've said just enough for the gains you had. If this will be adopted for all who managed their financials into wrong ways, this is the applicable strategy.

Why sell instead of use bitcoin as money?

There are some cases in which you cannot use bitcoin for any purchases and cash is really needed to complete a purchase e.g. a regular brick and mortar store. Let's admit it, bitcoin is not yet widely accepted for most purchases that cash can do. Aside from that, there's not much to spend your coins to apart from online stores.

I am usually very good at waiting for low buys, that means I tend to get out really early, I have a slow and steady wins the race approach.
In trading the time of buying and selling of goods are more important for a businessman. I will not sell now I will wait for appropriate time for selling my bitcoin. May be after 1st august the rise in bitcoin price occur and it once again touch the highest point of his price history so that time I will sell my bitcoin with glorious earning.

I usually go by gut feeling. Usually % will be safer, and more logical but I don't know why I do it. Just think things through and also if you need your bitcoins any time soon. I usually don't wait for long, hoping for a price increase. When I think that this profit is enough for me, I pull out. If I realise too late and the price starts crashing, I don't always panick sell. Wait it off, for bitcoin prices should stabalise and start to increase again. For altcoins, decide if you want to take the risk of keeping it in and hoping for the best.

I do sell when we see $3500 in 2017. If we don't reach $3500 this year, I will make my target as high as $4000 for 2018. If we see these prices, I will sell.

I will sell my Bitcoin if the market value of Bitcoin is good. Otherwise, I will wait for some more days. All said that the price of the crypto currency will increase in the next month. There is no accurate information from the marketers, so I have to wait for a right time to get profit.
If you want to make great profit with bitcoins, the best way is NOT to sell them even prices are very high and holding them even crypto market is facing dumping. There are maximum chances that prices will go high from the first week of August and it would be best time for those to buy bitcoins comparatively lower prices.

Always keeping bitcoins in hard time must be a the key to get big benefits from it. Keep up your faith with bitcoins and enjoy big profits in near future !

Bitcoin is the popular cryptocurrency,we can buy and sell anytime through the internet, this buying and selling is the business.we can sell bitcoin in urgent cases otherwise we can sell when it gives profits.this profit is depend on the bitcoin price.if we sell bitcoin price is high it is very good profit.some cases the bitcoin price is down,if we sell it is risky and loss.

So... Where was the part where you describe when do you sell? So you're basically inclining towards to selling just when you want and need it? That would be impulsive selling to be honest. So what if you want to buy something and the prices are pretty low, will you sell? That shouldn't be the mind set whenever you use bitcoins. Sell when it is high and buy when it is low.

Wow, that is true mate. Buy when it is low and sell when it is in high price. I guess when people are dumping and are afraid, that is really the best time to buy bitcoins and when they are buying back again, that is the time you are selling - the true mark of a good crypto trader.

I don't have any plan to sell it right now as price is not too high and to make higher profits its better to hold  them for next few months as it is predicted that price will cross the price level of $3000 very soon so waiting for that time to sell my coins at higher profit margin.

me ither. i dont have to sell bitcoin at the low price, especially now, everybody is dumping, afraid of the split. but for me, whatever happens, i will still have strong hands and not dump my bitcoins. it will eventually rise again.

at the lowest and highest point Cheesy for real, it is more a feeling and interpretation of the buy and sell orders and the last days of the coin. It can be critical to use always just the 10 %, you miss a lot opportunities

Sometimes too early, sometimes too late... but that is all part of the learning experience. But mostly for me its the amount of profit I'm getting. I personally very rarely do the calculations and figure out all the percentages, mostly its just straight forward for me, I bought it at 10, its 15 now, looks good probably will not go much high(although I am mostly wrong), sell.
