Yes that's true but i am sure bitcoin will never go back to $800 instead it will be skyrocketed just like the trend which is going on from last 2 years and those who sell bitcoin due to price drop are the ultimate losers.

We can see now, the price of Bitcoin is continue to down, maybe it's because will be halving
in next few days. And in my opinion to reach a price of $1500 maybe will happen after this halving

I think when that time of middle month of this year bitcoin would reach that $1500, because more will be buying for good purpose in the future next months until december. Most of bitcoiners were that agressive to think and decide for the right thing they think and they will actually do it, that's why bitcoin stayed longer and economic system was really healthy beyond expectation even though we encountered fluctuations of price.

I think the current price of bitcoin back down. price of $ 1,500 may be high enough price, so I feel that in March and April in 2017, bitcoin prices will not reach that point. but, when the response is very good prices in April to come, probably next bitcoin prices could reach $ 1,500.

For sure it will be in next couple of months but we need to hold bitcoins rather than selling it off like how some of the bitcoin user are selling it off by looking at the price dump in last 24 hours.

Its not easy to touch that high price in quick time and it may be possible to achieve by the end of the year and that also if everything goes smooth from and we don't come across through any bad news related to bitcoins and if it reaches there I am sure there will be many people who will prefer to sell their bitcoins.

Well I think $1500 is on the way now. Since the beginning of the year, we can see on the chart the price trend is move high even many bad news released. Last topic that we've heard ETF is rejected by SEC and with this news, panic sell happened and down the price for just one day, after that price is continue raising. We can tell when is exactly bitcoin will touch $1500, but I may say it is soon.

The markets get panic by a lot of the FUD about the horrible things of bitcoin unlimited and the upcoming hardfork in the future and I think it will be clear if there will a clarification about its rumour in our community.

not necessarily, drops like this slow down the rise but they don't make it harder. actually it can even be easier to get there to higher prices after the period of down-going ended.
in this process those who matter are making profit and those who are newbish enough to sell are losing money and after the reason for the dump is lifted (now it is FUD about fork) price jumps back up.

That's over expectation. Bitcoin price never goes down to $800. The price has started to decrease this might be the right time for traders to buy and Jeep hold. Price in a short or within the year end touches $1500 when the technology debate gets a perfect decision to run the entire network.

People don't understand what it takes to "just" keep the price at current levels, let alone to bump the price higher.

They just look at how the price has gone up lately and assume that it will continue to go up as easily. They just see what they want to see and completely ignore the real essentials.

People have been spoiled with peaks and dumps since the very beginning, so it's difficult to get them to focus on anything else. Consolidation is something that can't be found in their dictionary.

It would be nice to see some sort of an explanation as to why you think the price will crash. I honestly don't see anything indicating this since the increasing demand is the main driver of the price. That however doesn't mean we won't go down a bit, but a crash is not something I am worrying about. My range may be a bit on the wider side, but I think we'll keep bouncing between $1150-$1250 in the coming weeks/month. Mainly because of people cashing out, where after that the demand pushes the price back up.

The main reason is the hard fork that might happen, it will crash the price. i hope we get segwit activated and don't get anywhere near hard fork.

OP; I prefer to remain somewhat conservative when it comes to my predictions, but we all know how great the current demand and sentiment levels are. I just can't discard the endless scaling debates that cover the entire community with a thin layer of negativity.

True, these scaling debates pretty much hinder Bitcoin's progress as a currency and will continue to do so for a long time. I think that this whole period since late December has been a bit strange and Bitcoin needs to show some stability before it can genuinely move forward because right now I don't know what the people's value is and what's just temporary hyped market sentiment.

Maybe there will be a rapid price increase before the end of 2017. But for the first week of January 2018 it will be dumped and will be back maybe to $1,200-$1,300 but there's a need first to see the price close to $1,400 and if we saw that it will be coming for the 3rd quarter of this year then it's very possible that it can reach on that price.
