Winning or losing are two events that can make gambler lose control when gambling.
But it is bigger and it often happens that gambler loses control if they experience loss like you said, they lose certain amount of money and their emotional feelings increase so they cannot accept the loss until they try to recover it.
In conditions like this, gambler forgets the risk of forgetting limits and they are not aware that emotions have controlled them to continue fighting for victory in order to get back the amount of money they have lost.
There are quite lot of cases like this that have happened and been experienced by gamblers everywhere, in fact most of them even worse, have actually experienced financial ruin and all the wealth they had was lost in gambling.
It is very sad to hear that gambler has experienced ruin or bankruptcy just because of gambling, but all of this has consequences from the risks of gambling and they have to accept it.
Wonderful, you have a point, however, the winning and the losing time can control a gambler as you said and still, the most active time that controls the mindset if a gambler is when he or she is losing in gamble.
At the time of lose an addicted gambler or a new time gamblers will want to win, the gambler will be so dem desperate of winning. Although during the time of winning a lot of gamblers still continue gambling, but that is not a good idea, because as long as you have double you money then the best option is just to stop the gamble.
It is easy to lose while gambling but it is hard to win, I don't really know why it is so but that is what really happened, it might be because we put in mind all the time we gambled that we will win big or I don't know.
In my little gamble experience, I have observed that the most times I win is when I don't put in mind to win a dime, so sometimes I do try my best to stop thinking about money or winning when I want to gamble.
