Well, look at the chart if the chart is continuing on going down then that is the right time to buy that coins since it is on dump stage. Like today almost all coins are dumping this is the right time to buy.

This is also the good time to buy altcoins as well as bitcoin too. Now the price of altcoins are very low now, so you can check in the coinmarketcap and select the good growing coins and buy that coins and hold it for long time. Always altcoins will suit for long term investment only. You can split your investment in to two. Dont invest in one particular coin invest in two or more coins. Then only you can mange the loss or profit. Whenever the price is low we can invest at that time.

I prefer to make a few order buy than to buy in one order buy because I have bad experiences with this and I don't want to get the same experience. it is always better to split the order buy so I can get the various price when I want to buy the coins.
I am also following the same strategy, splitting the buy orders. The advantage of this is that if the price go down you have some capital left to buy more and if the prices rises you have the option to sell and make profit. Same strategy can be used while selling.
As far as right time to buy is concerned I think this is the right time to buy because every coin is down, market is red and prices will rise after some weeks so you have a chance to earn good profit. It is also important to invest in potential coin.
I agree with you and sometimes, my profit is bigger compared to one single buy and sell orders. in this month, we have a good time to buy altcoin and bitcoin and if we can use this to buy many coins, then we can hope that in the short time, we can make a bigger profit. but sometimes, the conditions can be a trap for a trader because the price can go lower after this so we need to wait and see for what will happen in the market. and if we think that it is another good time to buy then you need to place your order so you don't miss the right time to buy altcoin and bitcoin.

As a new member to the crypto world I am not able to know when the perfect time to buy altcoin but in my own experience the perfect time to buy is when the price is low.
You can buy altcoin at any time, because the new altcoin will have a certain chance of rising when it is first listed, but this situation will not last too long (many people leave it when they earn money)
Actually, as a crypto lover, I know altcoin buy time is when the market is going down I mean when a coins price getting low we should buy that coin in that time. In that case, now the market is low so I think this is high time to buy altcoin. And when it's price will increase we should sell it.
Well for my personal opinion it is always best to buy when the coins are down at a very cheap price. That is the basic after all. Buy low and sell high. That way you maximized your investments worth. All you have to do is to be patient and set your stop loss.
When the price is cheap. What I usually do , I check the previous prices like 3 months ago, 6 months ago or even a year. Then I will compare the price today , if I see that the price went back or near to the price 3 months or a year ago, I will buy that coin , of course considering also that the coin has a great potential.

Even the price isn't in low price still can earned profit if you play it well and you have chosen potential coins who are moving everytime either up and down. There is a strategy that I use while I am investing on an altcoin. You would change the percentages for yourself.
If the price is 60% lower than the ATH I would buy with 15% of what I would like to invest in that coin.
If price goes below 70% then I buy 20% more
If price goes below 80% then 25% more
If it goes below 90% then I would invest the rest as 40%
These days most of the altcoins are tanked to well below 70% so it is a good time to buy but, BTC would dip more so those alts would dip more too. So we would see better alt prices in the coming days.

Maybe now is the right time if you want to buy altcoin. Because now the market price has not been stable. it's an advantage if you buy altcoin now. And you will certainly benefit from the altcoin down condition now. And hold some time, and resale when the price is high.
actually today's recent status to the market would be nice to buy an alts so that we can buy for a cheaper value and can hold not that many but more other alts to be hold as we can choose wisely today as value not stable.
also buying alt is an advantage to make buy and sell for not too long as the value comes up and down for the current.
