I agree, it takes a lot of dedication and work to become a professional in the world of sports betting. Just because we follow the news and watch football regularly doesn't mean we know everything. This is exactly the reason why I only tend to bet during bigger tournaments. In my opinion there can go a lot of things wrong if there is no big pressure behind a game. Football players tend to perform especially well during big tournaments.

I am comfortable doing this, when I see my favorite football team playing against the bottom team then I am very excited and will definitely make a bet, so far my loss rate is smaller than the profit I made.

There is really no 100% assurance in sports gambling. An upset is always a possibility in football as in other sports games. And also, if you wait for your favorite team to face the weakest or one of the weakest teams, then you will just be betting too seldom. And even in that bet, you will be expecting a very low odds. If the match is highly in favor of your favorite team, it is to be expected that you are to bet a large amount in order to win a small prize. Is it going to be a worthy bet if your favorite team's win is just 1.01 in the odds?

I use to follow many teams and bet almost every week... now I bet from time to time, usually when I see some interesting games and I check some news about changes and previous results, other predictions... I don't think about the right time and all that if I like what I see, and I think there's something for me, I will place some bets!

That will be a good choice to know when the right time to gamble as your favorite team will play with the opponent. But if your favorite team does not have a chance to win, maybe you can select the opponent because your chance to win will be bigger than if you choose your favorite team. But before you choose the team, it will be recommended if you always search for more info to find out which team will have a bigger chance to win.

I am pretty sure that the pandemic was a complete nightmare for casinos, think about it one day there is a team that is the favourite and they give the odds they thought were correct ones, then it is found out that several key players have covid and they have to sit out for weeks, suddenly the odds need to change but every person that took the previous odds has a huge edge over the casino and they have no option but to respect those odds knowing full well they will lose money in the process.

If there are matches, you do not have to try to bet on that if you are not sure that you can collect much information about each team. But you can still bet on the random team to try betting on the sports and see if you have luck or not.

Well i guess the only unpredictable in football game that this pandemic has brought was its fix schedule of when does this game can be push through, how the management of the league can implement a social distancing and the strict healt protocols and guidelines concerning the players because their health was the top priority even after all. I don't think that this pandemic did something change like the rule of the game or even affecting every players endurance because i bet that the management wouldn't let the player would going to play if he wasn't fit to play right.

For me, anytime as soon as football game is already set out to give a football fans a game, with proper guidelines regarding to Covid 19, anytime sooon was the right time to gamble on football.

Knowing numbers or simply the stats would really already give you the idea which one or team is better and this is much better rather than on betting completely without any basis.
Right time isnt something for someone to mind off because in every game you can really tell the difference between two opposing teams but of course there are
factors which would really be changes which will really affect the possible outcome of the game and as a bettor then you should need to seek out for that one.
It might not be precise but trying it out would give chances.

I feel the gambling we do with friends and family when watching a football match is unmatched and can't be experienced in online gambling at all. It is just profits that are in mind when betting online against a house and gets even boring if there is no chat to discuss the game. I bet on stake mostly for sports and thankfully they have a decent chat and even allow us to put frustration out without being muted, as long as its against players or teams and not against fellow bettors.

I like almost all the points mentioned in the OP and I think the motivation of a team is more important than recent results because if the team needs a win to qualify there is a different mindset and if the team just needs to not lose by more than 2 goals, they are more on the defensive side.

I like basketball too, but for me the sport I know the most about is definitely football because I played it myself as a kid. The second sport I know the most about is probably some e-sports games. I find it easier though to bet on football than on esports games because the leagues are just bigger. There are more good teams with a lot of matches on a regular basis. So if we invest the time to do research I think we can make the most money in football matches.
