I had moments when the fun stopped for me.

I guess we all have that moment of realization sooner or later, like in my case it was when I was trying to martingale and got 14 losses in a row that wiped out my balance.
Another time I went to a physical casino with friends and the fun stopped because I run out of chips and had to stop playing early on and had to watch my friends having their fun for another hour

When I try to bet on live gambling platforms or try slot games, I can switch to the demo account and enjoy myself. I don't need to make a deposit in return for this and they actually give us the opportunity to try myself as if I were depositing real money.
The person who loses money cannot get enough pleasure and entertainment from here. For a person, having fun is all about the gain he will get from here. Of course, some may say that I satisfy myself even if I lose by playing with low sums, we cannot say anything to this.

You're very spot on. This reminds me of a movie I once watched, a very wealthy man had placed a bet on his horse to outrun his friends horse. At the end of the race, the friend won and the wealthy man put down his horse. The friend became furious and asked him why he killed the horse, he just smiled and said I'll get another one, not minding the cost of getting another horse.

So gambling could be fun for the elites who can be unperturbed by the number of losses they suffer because they've very deep pockets, but for me and you it's strictly business. We see gambling as a source of income, we hustle for wins that we become broke and sometimes it costs us our relationships.

I think it's really unhealthy if you aremt getting entertainment from it.  When you bet on a sporting game it adds something to the game that wouldn't be there if you didn't care about the outcome.  Once you stop getting entertained I think that is where the addiction comes in.  Some people feel the need to bet, that's when it's time to get help.

For me it's not just fun but more of an excitement. I feel that even if I bet $10, it doesn't have to be a lot and I get this tingling sensation, the adrenaline rush when the event is coming to an end and I've bet on the winning team. I don't need to win a lot of money, it's the waiting for the result and getting the euphoria of winning, being right that gets the thing done. Sometimes I bet against the fighters or teams that I like so that I feel happy regardless of the outcome. If my team wins, I'm happy for them, if they lose, I get the consolidation prize in the form of money.

Gambling has become commonplace and can be accessed easily at any time and at any time. There are even more types of gambling games, but I still like slot gambling. What do you think has changed about gambling itself? It's our situations and the times that keep changing but that doesn't really change the purpose of gambling, and it totally depends on one's own mindset regarding gambling and whether it will be fun for them or not. If you have always seen gambling as a way to earn money and profits, you can never get entertained by it because your mind and eyes will always just be looking for big wins.

But, if you have never thought of gambling as a way to earn money and you already have money and you just need some entertainment and just want to play some games and have some fun, then you will not find gambling not fun anymore because it is still the same thing if your mindset hasn't changed.

No?  When one limit his balance he is just being a responsible gambler.  Gambling does not become less attractive or less fun, the gambler is just moderating his gambling activity to ensure that it won't affect him negatively.  If one become a responsible gambler, gambling does not becomes less attractive and less fun.  And I believe that the fun will stay since the gambler who moderate his gambling activity is not overly exposed to the game making it boring for him.



If you are still in control you are not addicted to gambling You just love gambling but not addicted to it.


I certainly agree that gambling addicts are prone to money losses because they had lost their self-control.

Nowadays people will be more attracted to gambling because people have chosen gambling as their leisure time nowadays. People who are addicted to gambling spend all their time on gambling because of their greed. When you limit your balance, gambling becomes less attractive and less fun. I myself am addicted to gambling but have never overdosed which is why I enjoy gambling to some extent. Those who are addicted to gambling for money are more prone to losses. Sometimes I get bored with gambling when I start losing money, and feel great when it starts to accumulate again. I think it's natural to be a little upset about gambling these days when people are busy trying to make money with the skyrocketing prices of things.

I used to think that gambling is extremely entertaining, but that viewpoint has changed now. I still think that gambling is fun, though not as intense as I thought it was before. Life happened, things changed, and there are other activities that are more fun now compared to gambling. I think this is also the case for other people who have outgrown gambling and has since moved on to other things. Also, once you realize that gambling is slowly taking a toll on a lot of things in your life, you'll change how you view gambling. You'll start to realize that it's doing more harm than good to you and eventually, you'll stop.

Maybe we should accept it this way that when the fun stops then you pause your gambling and take a look out on the possible cause, there's no way we can gamble and netlect the fun in it, just as money is required to stake a bet in gambling, we also needs money to fuel and desire and taste to longer more for gambling, this has to come to the full realization of every gambler in knowing that it's all about bfun and friendliness why we gamble, we have to do these willingly and not by compellation, and we don't have to consider winning or losing before having fun in gambling.

For us, gambling is fun as long as we are making money out of it. How many times we have seen that we go to a physical casino or sit in front of our system, to play at an online casino and we are so much enthusiastic and hopeful to gamble. As long as we are winning the games we feel happy but as soon as we start to lose the games, our mood changes instantly.

We cannot remain happy because we lose money in gambling. Money is important for middle class people like us and we cannot afford to lose money. So for us, it is actually the money which keeps us happy in gambling.

That is what I'm currently doing right now. I've been exposed to gambling since I was an addict and there are games that are used to be fun and now it's quite boring even I know how to play the game and I can possibly earn money in that game. I only play occasionally nowadays and most of my gambling sessions are for past time and fun purposes only, not for the sake of money anymore. I can control my spending even I only play sometimes because I have a allocated budget for it. If you are not having fun, take a break and slow down your gambling activities. Learn new hobbies or interest, there's a chance that you can completely stop from doing gambling.

The gambling entertainment was never stop,it only happen at the time of losing all the money.Mostly the gamblers will get more experience and get their money savings some on the full capital.This help the gambler to make the next game in the gambling,So at some point he will get recover their loss.So my opinion the gambling loss will not happen in the gambling,some miracle will happen in the gambling.If the gambler had stop the gambling after some loss,it will be the loss for them in some point.

While gambling platforms and casinos meant to generate money for their owners, employees, and investors, gamblers engage in gambling as if it were a vendor and buyer relationship. Where the casino provides games, and gamblers spend their money to play and bothparts knows well that the odds are in casino’s favor.
What creates that sense of excitement during gambling is the gains and the adrenaline rush of winning even when someone experiences much losses while winning small amounts your brain can trick you to gamble more in order to get that same feeling, and that’s why I think that money you will be spending is just a tool to feel good and reach that dopamine.
The main problem here is when someone becomes addicted to gambling meaning that he will be risking his financial stability and personal wealth without noticing. This addiction can be compared to drugs or alcohol abuse which they also leas to financial losses, mental issues and irresponsibility.

There have been some cases within the Bitcointalk forum where some known and legit users turned to scammers by stealing other users money because of gambling addiction, to a point where someone is ready to lose everything he built in years for some dopamine moments that won’t last much. So yes I agree with you, if there’s no fun in gambling it becomes addictive and ruins everything.

Getting wins and profits in gambling is a big hope for everyone involved in gambling. This is a hope but not a goal. And I think that gambling is all about fun. Because when I think otherwise that gambling is about profit then what will happen is that I won't be able to enjoy the gambling that I do at all, especially when I lose, what happens is that I will be frustrated by that defeat. And I agree with this, when our gambling activities start to get out of control and only bring emotions when playing, then the best step we have to take is to stop for a moment the gambling activities we do. And later we can return to gambling if our emotions have calmed down and we have gained control over ourselves.

Gambling is much connected with fun and getting entertained. Will this be happening with the gamblers in reality. Maybe this can happen with the gamblers for whom money is not at all a big thing, as he holds big bags of money. For people like you and me, gambling could be fun to some extent, beyond that mind always looks for some profit. This is the real expectation, and when we look for money we're at the risk. Because, we start to spend beyond our ability. Fun stops when we consider gambling as a way to make money.

The word entertainment in gambling describes different thing.  Others are entertain with the games while others are entertained because of the thought of winning big, while others are entertained trying their strategy being effective.  So entertainment in gambling is a matter of what purpose does we have in gambling.  If this purpose is met then sure gambling will always be entertaining.

And just like the earlier reply, entertainment in gambling stops when we have depleted our bankroll because we won't be able to wager anymore.



These people who feel no fun in gambling should have stopped a long time ago.  but if they still gamble then I can say, they are still having some fun.  If they still gamble looking for fun and yet to find it, I am sure they will stop eventually.

For me online gambling is a form of entertainment and I'd never get addicted to it because I know how to control myself. It's always enjoyable to gamble alone or even with my friends. I don't wager a lot so I don't actually lose much.

That's true, a lot of gamblers when you're talking to them about gambling the only thing they're thinking about is money, as you said. They set goals to make money through gambling, which is in my opinion not advisable since gambling is so unpredictable. You can't ensure that you're making a profit from it because it's not guaranteed and at any time you could lose a lot of money if you're unlucky.
