You will have to wait for about decades before this could even happen. Even so, the thing is whether or not will it stabilize on those figures, and I highly doubt that it will.
10K is a very high figure. Don't expect bitcoin to go this high.

8 years is quite a good estimate. If the price rises 50% a year, it will be $10,000 in 8 years. 50% rise is not too demanding.

If the bitcoin price doubles every 2 years, for 9 years, the price could reach $10000. It also depends on the general adoption of the coin.
Your calculation has got some value. But this value getting doubled each year can't be predicted to take place for every year. If some bankruptcy took place that year goes out of this. Eventually it would take more than 15 years to reach the barrier 10000$
I think its never sure it will hit the barrier of 10k now or later.
Bitcoin has a great future but you never know what could happen in these years.
