The funny thing about the poll on this topic, a couple of people voted for months in 2016. Are they really that stupid? Or is it just a joke?
If the bitcoin price doubles every 2 years, for 9 years, the price could reach $10000. It also depends on the general adoption of the coin.
Your calculation has got some value. But this value getting doubled each year can't be predicted to take place for every year. If some bankruptcy took place that year goes out of this. Eventually it would take more than 15 years to reach the barrier 10000$
That is not a prediction, it is just a calculation. If there is no use for bitcoin, the price will slump in the future.

i can not understand the reason for the 2026, if you are following the halving lòogic, it should be 2024 and then 2028, there will be no more influence of the halving after it, by a miners point of views(not hype)
My opinion is after 2020 year, block reward won't be so important. Other things will have more values for watching.
2026 - well thats exctly 10 years from now. I didnt pick up '24 - '28 year beause we wont then watching block reward anymore.
Anyways thats my logic and targets for sale. Of course that is possible to see $10,000 even in '18 but chances are... you know.

It's a litte more conservative as you can see.
Then you should quit bitcoin. Now. There are MANY MANY MANY more investments that will earn you a much higher return, with MUCH MUCH MUCH less risk.

I don't see the price hit 10k anytime soon. Let's focus on a growth of the bitcoin eco-system first., these things are more important.
