Every day more and more ICO collect money, and then disappear. Do you think we need sanctions for ICO?
The ICO hype is already end on 2018, in 2019 STO will take the lead.
I think sanctions for ICO developers are needed because there are many scammers who steal investor money. but as investors we also have to be more careful not to buy scam coins.

The important thing is that there is a supervision of the project that will be landing. in my opinion the easiest right is the existence of an agency that can carry out ratings and recommendations on the ico project. the agency must be neutral and filled by people who are competent in developing digital currencies. this will gradually reduce the ico project hype. when a project is not qualified to be landing, the agency can make recommendations not to invest in the project. this is a small step that can make a new breakthrough in a much better investment system.

It is possible that the majority of fraudulent projects are controlled by one large criminal community, because the easy fund-raising scheme is very attractive and anonymous enough to turn it into a dirty business. In any case, ICO needs updates in order not to completely lose the fundamental sense of ICO, as a mechanism for implementing brilliant ideas into our future.

I would probably say yes. Too many ICOs too many competitors and the result is too many ICO will be dropping out of sight. There was too many for the consumers who are just a few. Some are really good but was too early to be known or applied. With limited usage for cryptocurrency we cannot expect that these ICOs will continue to a need for the users. Not unless if such ICO caters the basic need. I have not seen as much that caters to such needs. It certainly because basic needs are always urgent and cryptocurrency cannot be considered yet a real currency.

We really need one but so far we haven't heard much of any ICO getting punished for running away with investor's money ICO has become a dangerous and a gamble for investors, sometimes it's much better to wait for the coin to get in the market to buy, it's more safer.
We don't heard them punished that's because they can easily hide them self due to its anonymous identity. And also, there is no separate group focusing on finding scam projects in which we could rely them and for their actions. All we just have to do is to be aware and investigate ICO's before investing.

We do not need sanctions, but uniform rules for conducting ICO. Why not conduct ICO under the control of well-known crypto exchanges, on which the project tokens will immediately be placed. The investment would be received by the exchange, and then, within a predetermined timeframe, it would list the investment to the developers.

in my opinion it is not sanctions given to ICO which then disappear, but before we need to filter ICOs who really want to develop before the ICO runs. I think this will improve the quality of ICO in the future.

But the thing that I really hate for the journey of the project that ended badly and fraudulently at this time. there should be a way to see new projects that appear that have good authenticity and do not end in fraud.

according to the ico hype, it will end if the price of the main cryptocurrency like bitcoin, ethereum etc. has dropped and also the value of the coin is not in demand by other people but in the next few years cryptocurrency seems to be still interested so this hype will still be there

The threshold of entry into the crypto market is getting higher and higher. Now, without your own investments it is almost impossible to rely on a stable income. With investments by the way, too, but the chance to earn at least something with the right approach is much higher. The popularity of ICO is directly related to the possibility of earning on them. Less earnings less popularity.

Ico will be exist every year when bitcoin and altcoin keep exist because when getting bitcoin and altcoin keep on higher price, ICO will be success at the future, but when bitcoin and altcoin keep lower price, maybe ICO is hard for success.

There is one answer to this question - yes, yes, and again yes! Sanctions are needed !!! Investors are losing money, bounty hunters suffer. If the situation is not resolved, the ICO will die, and no one will benefit from it. Although regulation also has its drawbacks, regulation is ultimately the only way to end the ruling disorder.

I don't think the hype of ICO can ever end

same here i also think the same . hype is staple not only in ico's but on other busineses as well because that is thier tactics to earn  . not only the manipulators are benefiting from this but the user as well .

every day new ICO pump up in the market and many of them are just scam waiting to take investor's money and disappeared

everyday ?  no i dont think so . its rare to find a hyped ico every single day because most that we see are only fake ico  .

I think the government should regulate ICO before their are allowed to run they public sales and let there be a sanctions to failure to meet the demands of investors.

what is kyc for ?  most ico already implement kyc's  . i guess that is an evidence that they are now centralized and regulated by government ?  but why others are still failed  ?  we cannot blame them  . thats how a business goe's

I think lots of scam projects will continuously coming to this field will the most important reason for the people don't had a huge concentration on investment in ICO this will be the important reason
Investors were having a very good tool like the launch pad that created by the major exchange and they should not feel worry about the scam ico anymore as long as they are following it. We have a lot of ways to fix it.

It is hard to imagine that the cryptographic community will completely abandon the ICO, but serious and effective fraud prevention mechanisms are certainly necessary. It would be nice to create an influential organization that would take on this problem, for example, for a reward from the pool of generosity.

Well if it will really be possible then why not. Many now develop ICO's just to scam others and has  no plan to further with the project after they have collected individuals monies. It really worrisome  and some thing has to be done about it.
