I am sure about that coz of ERC20 tokens, so many of them, and they gonna shoot to the moon next year. If you wanna buy them on some DEX like ethermium.com you have to buy Ether first, plus upcoming updates like plasma and sharding. Ethereum will not reach the 1200 dollar again in this year this is impossible thing I guess. Ethereum's price will 300-400 dollar end of the year. Maybe, we will see 900-1000 dollar. If ethereum pass the POS system, its' price will increase immediately.

i am weiting for it to. i am N1 supporter of ethereum team and coin, and i know FUTURE is great for ETH, but i really dont know when will be 1 400 $, i know after this dump - will be some big pumps, but i dontknow ETH price will grow to : 200 , 400, 800, 1000, 1400, 2000, 10000 or 15 000 .

Cryptocurrency price is unpredictable. Anytime price can going up or down. But protensial coin always recover its price. Etherium will increase again and will touch $1200. Maybe it will be on 2019.
Now patience is the major requirement for the people to hold their coins because if you fluctuate you will start selling them for cheap prices. So it is good to hold the ETH until your desired target price is reached. For ETH to reach its original value of 1200$ is easy for that market should recover and before that the price of Bitcoin should increase in the market.

ETH reaching 1000+ also seems to be a little bigger task at present moment.
