With the market right now going sideways, anything can happen. If ethereum can solve its scalability issue and there proof of stake is up then 1200 for Ethereum would be easy but for now until the end of this year 1200 is very very far to reach.

Well, cryptocurrency is totally unpredictable. Nobody can concretely tell you what will be situation of crypto market in future. Despite of ETH is most promising coin in crypto market , the value of ETH is constantly going down since January end. But as price of ETH is low. This is the right time to invest as it is expected price of ETH will go up in january 2019

apparently it takes a lot of time for the market to show a positive growth of the crypto currency. Despite the great potential of the efirium, the price will remain in a bad state for a long time.

I doubt this year we will see that kind of price hike unless Bitcoin reaches over 20k again. I think 2018 is the year of the Bear and we won't see a significant bull run till well into 2019. Then again I might be wrong, but indicators show that the Bears haven't finished squeezing out all the retail investors yet. They are waiting for complete capitulation. I see ETH at 150-200 dollars before we can see it re-emerge again. 300 USD right now is the new HIGH for EHTEREUM. Will be a long time before ETH goes up because too many ICOS now just unload all their ETH and crash the price.
