There is already a new and upgraded version of ICO named STO. I think because of the frauds and failure, ICO will be no longer exist at the ending of 2019. If it does, there will some platform which will regulate ICO within blockchain.
icos are so strong nowadays and so useful and i do not want them to die only scam ones maybe but i want to have the good ones here

ICOs can serve a very useful function in society in terms of helping useful projects (although there are many scams too) so I don't think the idea of ICOs will go away.
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?

ICOs is not a new phenomena. It's just next stage of crowdfunding using new technology. IPOs are not about crowdfunding, it's about making extra money for public offering. New project can't go to IPO. But it can go to ICO or STO. Thus, I don't see any reasons ICO/STO should die. Perhaps it can be switched from blockchain to another efficient technology, but it still won't be a death.
Crowdsale ICO's may die. However this will be against the whole idea of ICO's. I hope ICO's won't become like IPO's where basically the general crowd gets rekt by getting dumped by private sale investors. During a bear market, crowdsales reduces but in a bull run I think crowdsales will still continue.

You are funny. ICO will die when all cryptocurrencies will die and it won't happen soon so you enjoy ICOs for as long as you want
ICO will die once most all coins but if the cryptocurrency still alive it will continue to have ICO and for sure one of the ICO who still developing right now they have big influences and benefits for us but better to choose good ICO to make sure our money is in right hands.
I think ICO will die if Cryptos will die but then if you look at it Cryptos will never die so in other words ICOs will not also die unless your government does not give you the permission to do ICO in your country. Other countries already have regulations and rules in running ICO.
Well, it will die if the level of fraud in ICO increases sharply. Which is makes the investors are not interested and do not trust in ICO anymore. In this circumstances, no one else still invests or contribute in ICO. I am sure, it won't take a long time for the ICO to die.

The ICO will die quickly if there are more ICO frauds. I myself am concerned about the current condition because of the many fake ICOs or ICO frauds. This situation greatly reduced public confidence and the market became very volatile. Most crypto currency players become frustrated because they are victims of this ICO fraud. This situation will not change as long as in the market there are still frauds. I myself am still confused about distinguishing between truly trusted ICOs and fake ICOs because they are very smart at influencing investors. Therefore, I have also been a victim of this ICO fraud several times.

I think it will not die. There are so many companies around the world that entered the crypto setting and then scheduled their own ICOs as well. And many ICOs are still getting very huge amounts of investments
It won't die but there will be few ICO's in the years to come. There are thousands of coins in the market and the services offered got redundant because of the same services offered. I think the rules for setting up an ICO will also change because of the scam ICO's. For this year, an ICO is more likely to be scam or a failure. It will be bad for crypto if this continues.
It seems to me that they will begin to be regulated and then scammers will die. And ICO will be much smaller and only worthwhile and real projects will be. Then it will be easier to participate and more promising, so we will not fall for deceivers!
