The exact advice to give difficult without studying coins. You have to go to the site of the project and understand whether you believe in the future of the project or not. Also, go to the telegramm chat of the project and read the project outlook. And then decide - sell immediately or keep altcoin. But if the amount turns out good, you can immediately sell a part, and leave the rest for a year or two

Yes, I guess coinmarketcap is the best website on this matter. Rebellious is better to be sold on. It has enough volume but the reputation is not very good, so I would suggest getting the money out there right after selling. DON'T sell this token for btc, the fee is 0.5% for btc on this exchange. Equal is to be sold on coinexchange for eth or btc (not sure what's better in this case).
First you need to turn website coinmarket. Thare are most important information about every coin. If you can find your coins there, you will see on which exchanges it trades. Choose a convenient exchange, go through the registration and you can sell! If your token is based on an ETH, you can sell it on the EtnerDelta exchange. You just need to enter your private key. More new tokens you can sell on EtnerDelta immediately.
There are many sites that you can sell your alternative coins. Last time, I was about to use etherdelta to trade, unfortunately, their site experienced a problem and solving it that moment that is why I used yobit.net site for selling my coins. The transaction fee is quite expensive which maybe depends on the amount of money you'll going to send. Another negative feedback in etherdelta is the delayed time of transactions which is kind of irritating.

I find there a possibly correct price and, more important, which exchanges have that coin listed, with clearly accessible link to the exchange.
But you should research more about your coins. If they use another platform (ethereum, waves) you may need to buy small amount of the platform's coin to pay the fees to get your coins transferred to the exchange (this also means withdraw fee from the exchange you bought ETH to send it to your wallet). Then you should check the exchange, since most exchanges have a minimum value for transactions and if your coins don't worth much, you may not be even able to sell them.
And I've left it to the end, although it should be the first: read about the coins, read about the projects. Get all the info you can read and try to find out if it's a good and fair project, because then it ha s a good potential to rise over time. And then it may be better to hold for much longer. You can trade these coin to etherdelta nut be careful because there are too many scam/phishing sites that looks like etherdelta,just use metamask to protect your keys and metacert extension to prevent phishing sites.But if your tokens arent in the late stage i suggest you to wait for few months and im sure you are going to get more. There is a lot of crypto exchange, first you have to tell us what you have done since all will not be available at the same exchange. You can use coinmarketcap to search for your altcoin by putting the name in the search field and then click on the altcoin name and click on the market tap. You will find all the exchange available for your altcoin there ranking by trade volume.

Check your altcoin on Coinmarketcap:

For every coin, they list the markets they are traded in - you can then make an account at one of the exchanges listed and sell.
Be aware however that some airdrop coins arn't on any exchanges yet.

If they gained value then you can check in their official thread where are these coins are traded or if it is listed in Coinmarketcap, click the market link from there you will find the exchange where it is being traded, that easy and congratulations.

There's a lot of coins going down and up daily so if your coins are really high by now sell it then buy again if it's going down to have more earnings,i think also don't trade some of your coins then convert it to btc after that convert some btc of yours in fiat so you already gain earnings by doing that while do invest some again,all of tactics here are need because the price is so volatile.
for myself I can sell my coin in Etherdelta because it is quite crowded exchange

With REBL you can trade it on Bit-z. EQL can sell it on etherdelta. This is where I exchange my tokens.
Check it first in coinmarketcap these coins are already listed their. Select markets you can see where its exchange listed and to sell the coins. Better do search these coins if all worth it to hold or sell right away.
find the exchange where your altcoin are listing, change them to bitcoin or ethereum, than you can sell them in many ways, for exemple, Kraken etc.

After your coin has appeared, you will see the rise and fall trend of the coin. Scroll down a bit and click on market.
There,you will see all the exchange sites your coin has been listed and their respective trading prices.
You can now go to the exchange site you thinks is appropriate for you.

For me if erc20 token you recieve much better to sell your coin in etherdelta trading site for compatibility of your coins.
