Well, I actually see lots of information here in the forum. Since the most updated medium is here, although you can actually see some news in social media- facebook, twitter, etc.
The best and latest news is always on this forum. All other forums simply copy news from bitcointalk.org. I also signed up for news on social networks
Mostly bitcointalk also youtube, and everyother thing about cryptocurrency info you can find at this site: https://coinmarketcap.com/ on this site you have everything about currencyes, like on what exchange you can buy that currency, you have a lot of other tools/links too like social tab, news from social media for currencyes that you follow, trade or just hodl, but not only that, on this site is also currency converter and a whole lot of info that is very usefull...
there many site where you find all what is new in the crypto world i personally look for my new on coindesk and of course i use other resources like youtube channels and and telegram and also here on the forum which show you how the crypto community reacts on different crypto project.
Coinmarketcap, some exchange platforms and a lot of news portals represent my instruments for trading coins. More information you use, more profits you get this is common rule in this business.
Currently we have many ways for news about crypto best is coindesk and Coinmarketcap after these two reddit twitter and few blogs also doing good job

So if I want to see all about becoming ICO you can go to icorating.com, if you want to see news about Bitcoin or blockchain you can see it in telegram, it's very convenient
My information is given from Medium, BitcoinTalk (ANN), CoinSchedule, and sometimes Googling. Also, my friend on Telegram send me information about ICO
I usually check from Reddit, well it's complete website for me. Anything information that i want is served by community inside it

I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

From my friends, even though I browse the internet online I'm too skeptical and defensive when clicking websites I do not know or just seems suspicious. Bitcoin news in our country is still somewhat not trending in our mainstream media though a lot of people are starting to get more and more interested.
you can join in their media group such as telegram, twitter, facebook and others because usually they will update the routine in the media
There are many ways for us to find the latest updates everyday about in cryptocurrency and bitcoin. We have cointelegraph, social media's like facebook and twitter or cryptonews also these are the possible tools where we can use to update ourselves about it.

The technology today is very helpful and making the thing very easily. Especially in getting the news almost all those current events about the cryptocurrency are here in the internet because they are digital so they will be first in here. Kust surf in the internet then find some news about the cryptos and red some articles that will enlightened your mind when it talks about this thing because a lot of people do not trust this. But the best new is this forum for me this are the legits nrws because news can now be fakem
Many sites there we find our news like tweeter,reddit, Facebook and telegram we find here actual news and also we find here coin related news.
news.google.com. Or maybe you meant a different type of news. Slashdot is real neat and has a decent amount of technical coin discussions.
i ma using coinmarketcap to get latest price update on coin. And also i use cryptocompare and cointelegraph and I subscribed on Medium Crypto based interest news where i will get regular updates about crypto currency.
I think this media is more appropriate to get information about the coins and I will try it 
Reddit might be one of the options. Personally, I only use this forum and twitter. In my country, news channels are beginning to provide information 
Crypto news is everywhere. You can find it here, in social media and in search engines like google. But most of the time, I get my news from this forum. People here are quick. They know instantly about fresh news however, some maybe unreliable. You can read them all, but choose what you believe in.

I registered at twitter, want to follow some News pages. YouTube also gives me good sources of Cryptocurrency.
