Coindesk and Cointelegraph are good for news but if you want more information about crypto coins you can check Coinmarketcap and Coingecko. These are two great platform for checking information of coins.

I've been reading CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph, but those are general news sites in my opinion.  There isn't a lot of news about the smaller coins.

What sites do you read?

I've read from both sites but only briefly, because I personally prefer to search from Twitter or Instagram besides being easier to access because at the same time I do a bounty and it doesn't make me work twice, yes, even though both sites are read carefully many benefits too.

I am not the one who always wants the news every day. But, for crypto, social media is one of the good choices. I commonly get some updated news from telegram groups or channels, twitters, and also CoinTelegraph.
This forum also does the same. But, commonly will take a deeper look at the news by searching in google, they will provide the information clearly. if it is about the local news media, I choose Coinvestasi.

^ These are very common websites now and very accurate to broadcast news related to crypto and I even subscribed to these on their telegram to gather and be notified when there is incoming news. Sometimes Twitter too but I don't have an account in Twitter so I prefer the telegram news channel of these Coindesk and Cointelegraph more the cryptocurrencies news and other related crypto news. There are a lot of news channels in a telegram that you can choose from but it would be better if you will try another source of news to compare the content of their news.

To find news sources I don't just use one website because I always see comparisons from several sites and I also don't need to mention all of them because in the previous post there have also been many written and widely available on Google but we just need to be careful in choosing a website because sometimes some spread FUD

I actually use many sources to get news about cryptocurrencies. But the one that I use mostly is CoinTelegraph I think. I care about looking for different sources also to be sure about the trueness of the news I read.

Smaller coin?  you mean new altcoin?  The majority of new coins are only promoted and communicated in personal or institutional media, media, reddit, twitter... They need to be confirmed before being interested and approved by the authorities,  author, is allowed to publish accurately identified information on well-known news websites such as cointelegraph,... .  Honor, scams and disclaimers are big deal

Bitcoin is now popular all over the world, so accessing the news is very easy. I don't spend much effort on this, but if you are very interested in the topic, there are a few well-known sites. I hope the forum helps you with this and we always have good news  Cheesy
Thanks to sharing my thoughts, why would someone like to use another website or apps when this forum is enough to get a proper announcement? Now I believe that one person can trace all of the altcoins. Joined a telegram group is enough to solve the problem, but my favorite list must be limited. Sometimes I follow only Twitter. I'm interested in following new projects without this forum, but Bitcoin IEO is my favorite.

Social media like Twitter is the best option to get the news and i am in some of the Telegram groups and once i see a new development what i do is verify the news using any search engine and you will get the news readily available, other than that i will not stick to one source for cryptocurrency news and i do not look for news about the reasons for the price movement as none of them are accurate as majority are just speculating .

I don't stick with a specifc site or few sites. I just look general news on the internet from different sources through the google's searching tool. This way it's possible to find the main crypto news from different sites, increasing the range of the search. Twitter is also a good tool to find news regard crypto currency through its hashtags or simple keywords related to crypto universe.
That is a pretty accurated method because more recent news will be displayed first so you don't lose anything.

I get about 90% of my news from Twitter, 5% from reddit, 2% from CoinMarketCap and 3% from Telegram community members.

there are so many sources of information out there, it's just that determining which one is accurate will be quite difficult, I myself use bitcointalk and blockfolio to get information about the crypto world, be careful in choosing the source of information, because some of these websites spread hoax news
the most accurate ones I usually follow are the social media accounts of the exchanges and the social media accounts of the projects I follow. because I really don't like new assets. I've researched several projects and I will follow their updates.
to get news updates from groups that are not clear I think it's just FOMO.

with an increasingly sophisticated era, it is not a new thing for us to get information that is so fast and actual like the example of bitcoin today, when we want something or goods we can directly access it on the internet. easy to get information about bitcoin. coupled with information from the people closest to us who told the information
If we are talking about the old altcoins announcement, maybe the answer will be telegram group. Actually, I don't follow any website news to track altcoins motivation. Most of the news is based on their prediction. We should fix our favorite altcoins then those altcoins social sites. Still, New ICO are risky without the good exchange IEO. We can fix our favorite exchange.

you should join to unfolded telegram group , this channel give newest update from cryptocurrency market and also trusted. Some site provide unvalidated news and they only use this news to  attract traffic from crypto community. Bitcointalk usually give late update , mostly it used to discuss project .

I know that there are many sites that are giving free news about crypto but as for me, I would like to stick to one or 2 sites or apps. Aside from that website, I often watch some news or some crypto updates on Youtube. I followed some popular Youtubers but not those who are hyping a coin blah blah.

Nowadays, information can be seen online. Visit your browser or the app, just a few clicks or a few searches and you will see the updates on the crypto world.
