Because they know that you cannot beat the house every time you play at a casino and their chances to win money is when there is an opportunity to win, they are not trying to win but instead just enjoy the game and their experience.

Every one of us had a definition of having fun your definition is different from the other players I started playing games with having fun as my main motive and just created a shift of my mindset if there's a chance to win money


I don't agree with your opinion but we all have different opinions on the way we gamble and how we treat gambling if all of the gamblers cannot have fun when losing money we will all be disappointed because losing is part of gambling a fact that you should accept so you can liberate yourself of the attitude that you can beat the house that will cause anxiety and depression.

Betting in excess is very much risky and dangerous although gambling is said to be risky and dangerous but that does not mean one should blindly gamble ignorantly to the point of gambling excessively. It is a miss normal and inappropriate to do. If you check out, most of the major winners I have seen and read online all had a little bet that is insignificant and the results were something else.

So therefore, as a gambler, it is wise that you gamble a small amount that can be overlooked if losing was the only option left but I believe here is not the end of the  road as it is more sophisticated than one could think of.

I am still having fun even when losing just because I can afford it as I have limits on my bets compared to my previous years of betting. As long as you are responsible with your bets you are still having fun unless you are after about money and winnings. We all wanted to win but the challenges we experience on the game itself is priceless and fun.

In reality, nobody who loses money in whatever they do, call it big or small will take it as fun throughout. Although some not all gamblers perceive gambling as fun, that doesn't mean they will lose money continuously to gambling without feeling a bit bad about it even though they are doing it for fun.

Gambling will be fun when the gambler has first agreed to bet with the little money they have just for entertaining themselves. So whatever amount they spend on gambling they won't think twice about it rather they will laugh at their poor strategy of not getting their prediction correctly.

Answering to the question in the OP and replying to this, I think that the key is the fun in the moment before you know the result. Winning is of course a cause of joy, but the dopamine released in the brain when you are waiting for the outcome is the real source of fun IMO, and which makes it worth suffering when you lose.

Of course, nobody has fun when they lose. Perhaps the most masochistic individuals.

Whether there is pleasure in losing or not depends on the mindset of the gambler. If you gamble to win or become rich through gambling then you will never find pleasure in losing. Such a gambler will continue to chase his lose to recoup the losses. Since losing is part of gambling despite one’s best efforts or strategies you will continue to lose and if a gambler wants to avoid losing money, the most logical decision would be to refrain from engaging in gambling activities as you mentioned.

When you bet in excess, it means that you are over-positioned and any bad result (a loss), will significantly affect your position. Gambling is not as simple as blindly investing everything in a single game and luck will be kind enough to make you a millionaire  This does not work in this way. I have seen that blindly jumping into gambling with a lot of capital usually will result in the loss of capital and money. Haven't you seen all those millionaires from gambling, they all spent little and won a jackpot. Maybe that's a secret in gambling which a common man is not aware of at the moment.



How about making your mind to believe that what you are doing is for the fun and once you gamble, you have fully enjoyed the time and the money? If somehow the result aspect of the game is eliminated from our mind, it will make our mind burden free and we will enjoy more as compared to when we put money into gambling with the hope that we MUST win 

This topic is for those who claim that gambling is for fun. I really wonder if it is fun for you to lose money. Gambling is about winning money. I’ve seen wealthy people gamble and stake high and trust me, they don’t wish to lose and wouldn’t smile about it if they lost. They gamble to win money and it adds to their pride. It’s not much different for other gamblers. You can have fun gambling when you’re winning. But gambling is for winning no body wants to lose.

If you want to gamble and you don't want to risk money, gambling is not for you, because those two things are connected, you cannot play gambling and enjoy the game if you didnt make a wage, unless you are get satisfied with the demo of the casino, people trying to enjoy the risk with the possible huge amount of earnings. If you focus on gambling just for money you will lose the fun not until you see your money getting consistent with your current balance or having an earning else you will possible have a circulation of emotions due to losing your money. If you are those kind of person seeing gambling as part of fun and no matter whats the result, you will enjoy the game.

How a gambler feels after losing a gamble depends on his bet amount and intention. When someone places a large amount of bet and his intention is that if he can win this bet then he can earn a lot of money from it. then if he loses in gambling it will hurt him a lot and he will never be happy in this case. But if one goes to gambling for fun and bets a small amount maybe $0.1-$2 in this case he will accept it with a smile even if he loses the bet. so gambling is not the same for everyone and has different feelings for different people.  It depends on the intention of every individual

Sometimes after making a predictions of 10 games and taking them to your bet, only 1 out of that ten would bring about the loss of the entire game. Though it's painful but that feeling of getting close to making a win is what keep the hopes up and sometimes this can be the fun part where you told a friend that you are not sure of that particular game. Lossing money is not fun in real sense but when you feel like spending some cents rather than using a huge amount then your loses won't even bother you.

if you think that you are gambling to get money, of course you will lose fun in your gambling because you will most likely lose your money. but if you initially have the mind to have fun, it is likely that you will find fun in gambling, even if sometimes you lose. because actually people who are disappointed in gambling and don't find fun in it are those who gamble with the perception that they will get a lot of money from it. but when in reality they don't get any money from it, then they will lose the fun of gambling, because of their disappointment.

It is impossible for us to gamble if we don't have money, but if we use too much of the money we have on gambling, of course this will make them experience financial difficulties and I think it is very impossible to get a steady income from gambling. However, if you can get a steady income from the gambling you play, of course this will be very profitable for you and you no longer have to work and you only need to gamble to be able to fulfill what you need.

In the game, of course there will be losers and winners, and those who win will be able to enjoy their money and for those who lose, of course, they can only see other people's wins and you have to look for other strategies to use in your next bet.

Money is important, it is utility and without them, we wouldn't stand any positive chance of enabling the good runs in gambling system. Our minds can only be exploring and positive for us, never stop using believing the process. We have fun only when we have other things that's providing steady means of income, never relenting but focused on the big winnings. Losing money is part of the game, we should always held upon our direct competitor because winning have been ultimately necessary.

The key is having limitations in their money that they wants to used to playing gambling. They will not breaks the limitations when playing gambling and will stop playing gambling immediately when they see their money is almost runs out. A gambler will not have a big chance to win so they must stay limited their money to prevents the losses to become bigger. Besides limiting their money, they also needs to limits their time to playing gambling because that can cause them to continue playing gambling without take a breaks or stopping playing gambling. They will not see that their emotional becomes bigger and which can makes them to spends more money to gambling. They will makes more and more mistakes in playing gambling without seeing that they must fix the mistakes. That's what we must prevents when we playing gambling so we can enjoy playing gambling without any problems.

You can up the amount to bet but you must realizes the risks will becomes bigger and there is a chance for you to lose more money. If you can accept the risks becomes bigger, you can continue playing gambling with increasing the bet. But that doesn't guarantee you to win because that depends on your luck and the other things. They don't have to test their strategy because that can makes them losing more money so they must understand that will breaks their limits and makes them becomes addicted to gambling. We don't wants to feel sad when we lose some money in playing gambling but if we are trying to enjoy the gambling games, we can makes some limitations for the money and time that we will use to playing gambling. That will prevents the big lose and we will have a chance to enjoy the moment to playing gambling.

The fun is a feeling of satisfaction and not a must to win. When you gamble, don't only believe that you will win, just have two thoughts in your large brain, either you will win and you will be very happy for two reasons which for wining and satisfaction of your feelings. The most fun part of gambling for me comes from both winning a bet you placed and when you observe and watch your favourite team play and win, or probably your prediction goes as planned.

Over familiarity and over confidence in games and bets is sometimes too dangerous.
