The fact that anyone would neglect their goals to focus on gambling would already mean that they've slowly gotten into addiction without even knowing it... The worst thing to ever get conflicted with is being comfortable about how intensed your habit has become, or opposing people that tend to correct you.
Anyone that decides to gamble would only start thinking of the benefits, before considering how effective they may be to claim them.

OP would like all the fun of betting and winning money without the risk of losing it   That's a born winner right there.
There's no fun in losing, you got that right, but there's no winning without losing, unless you're one of those people who bet everything on a single game and if they win they get out rich and never come back. That 1 in a million man or woman will tell you that there is winning without losing.
I don't have fun when I lose but I have to deal with it just like you don't have fun when you have an accident, but driving fast can be fun. You just have to deal with consequences. You don't drive to have an accident just like you don't gamble to lose, isn't it obvious?

Gambling they said is a game to ease stress and make you relaxed during your gambling you can risk a dollar not much or 50 cent to 20 cent on your own without you thinking you are wasting much, just as people normally seat at the beer parlor taking a bottle of beer while having discussion it doesn't mean you are spending all your live savings over there than just few cents same it's to gambling when you can spare this money by easing your stressing when winning comes it's a plus to you than just easing stress gambling while you keep tracking your lost. Though it's actually good to track records but it should be something you won't count much on since you are risking some cents instead of what you can't afford to lose while gambling. There are some people who can consumes about 2 to 4 bottle of beer without knowing they have actually lost same it is to gambling people lose money at the cost of gambling.

imagine the following: tomorrow you go to the beach and pay 50$ to be able to stay on the beach to eat and drink something and also to be able to play football on the beach, go horse riding and when you return home and someone asks you why you wasted 50$ , you will answer that you spent $50 having fun, that is, you paid $50 to play football on the beach, ride a horse and also to have a moment of rest. It's just like when you pay for a TV subscription, you will spend money paying for a TV subscription because you want to watch games and movies and series; so when you pay 50$ for a TV subscription, you will not get your money back, you will not increase the 50$, they are gone the moment you paid for the TV subscription

so when a person goes to a physical casino or an online casino, that person is going to play those games, so they pay money to play them and losing or winning more money is part of the process, it is not and should not be the objective of people to look at profits in gambling, and it is a serious mistake to play in a casino thinking about making profits. That's not what gambling is for. When a person places sports bets, the person is testing themselves, they are testing the person's abilities to analyze the game and see if they can get the outcome of the game right. I believe that we have all played cards and other games with friends that don't involve money, but in this game we feel sad when we lose.

but even when we lose when we are playing with friends, we still continue playing the next day, because we play even though we know we lost the day before? Where's the fun in losing? The answer is very simple: we are playing because we want the company of friends and relatives, we chat while we play. So even if we lose in the game that doesn't involve money, people will still have fun at that moment. That's why losing or winning the game should be seen as just fun.

Well, we can't assume this is always gonna be the case. Those who gamble usually has money and time to spare because they are most likely has a day job, and of course it would be irresponsible when you neglect your task to do gambling at work. I bet gamblers will visit casinos or online casinos during off time. Also, making quick money might not be the priority, but some wants to enjoy while placing bets with their favorite games.
We all know that losing money is no fun, BUT! fun doesn't always come at the end, but most of the time fun and excitement always come while you're on the process of making bets. You will never know if someone are actually enjoying and having fun while gambling especially when you're not in their shoes. We have to understand that we all have different preferences and perspective towards gambling, so that doesn't mean because you're not enjoying it, others don't enjoy it as well.  

When a person loses money, a lot of andrenaline is produced - of course, this is a somewhat inverted emotion, but it can happen. If a person just gives the money to charity, it will not cause the emotions that a person gets when losing it in a casino. To each his own, of course

Normally gambling is fun  when people go about it in the right way just as it is supposed to be played. Gambling is fun when people get the real understanding of gambling. When people play with amount that they can afford to lose and when one understand their limits of how gambling is supposed to be played this makes gambling to be fun. But when people takes gambling so serious and what to play gambling with a high amount,  if it ends up to lose it will be painful because it was not played for fun instead it was played to make more money in gambling.  Gambling is fun to play when people knows the limit which they need to play and can play with amount that they can't afford to lose.

For me the fun in gambling even when you lose, is when you are playing being thrilled and excited for the outcome.
Some of us risk money to have or feel those emotions and doesn't really care much about the game result.
For them it is not the result that is important but the time when they are playing having fun.

That's what I was about to say. We certainly don't enjoy losing money through gambling; I don't think anyone does, unless you have an abundance of cash ready to be blown away; however, the money-making opportunity, along with the adrenaline rush you're getting through betting and the anticipation of winning money in return, is what gets you going. It's definitely not for everyone, as it requires great budgeting skills and self-control, while some people may not be able to handle losing money, and unfortunately, it's something you should get used to while gambling; luck won't always be in your favor.

I understand that losing money is a situation that no one wants to be in and one of the reasons why many people suggest to treat gambling as a fun activity while on the other hand they have the possibility to lose money is actually a mindset that you should not make gambling a place to earn income, because this is the only approach that is really best if you want to stay involved in gambling.

After all gambling is always about risky decision-making activities but on the other hand you can minimize the possibility of risk which as I said above that making gambling a place to seek pleasure is the best approach because then I think you will not put seriousness and hope in winning, So the idea of gambling for fun is nothing more than an approach that is indeed more advisable but it does not mean that you will not lose but you will not experience excessive emotions due to defeat which basically emotions can make a gambler experience a more significant defeat because of making decisions based on emotions.

You won't make fun of gambling when you lose because what is in your mind is to make money from it. But if you think you just playing, whatever the results will satisfy you. Unfortunately, you are gambling for money, not for pleasing and entertaining yourselves which stresses your mind and gets burned when lose. This is normal for the gamblers who assume that they gamble for the win and this is who you are. Of course, you can't appreciate gambling as you already think that gambling never gives you happiness when you lose.

Depending on the nature of gambling that people do, some people gamble when they are not busy at work or more precisely when they have regular holidays every week.
Spending a small budget on gambling for fun is a practice that many people do, unless gambling is an addiction that knows no time. That's why people consider gambling as a way to have fun because they are not addicted to gambling.

There has never been a person that I have come across who would be happy if they lost money but it would be much different when they tried to bet and lost money at gambling.
Deliberately or not losing small amounts of money in gambling may not have any effect on some people because they do not gamble blindly.

There is sometimes a rush of adrenaline in anticipation and wait for the outcome when you gamble, this is the fun to some people. If you do not have this excitement when you gamble, then maybe there is no fun in it for you. Gambling does not have to be fun to everyone and to every gambler, If there is no fun in it for you then maybe you should consider engaging in another activity for fun and stop finding fun in gambling or forcing yourself to like it.

Or maybe we should ask ourself of where is the idea we had concerning gambling that we should gamble with the amount of money we can afford to loose, when we are gambling, we need to watch the limit to ho we should spend on this purpose, we have to be careful from how long we stay gambling for a day, this might also triggers in the way we spend as we stay longer in gambling because it requires money to gamble.

I hadn't considered it that way, but it makes sense that the social part of sports betting might bring some comfort even in the face of a loss. But on the contrary playing slot machines may seem incredibly solitary, making the loss all the more devastating.
I feel that a sense of community in online sports betting may be beneficial in several ways.


1. It can give a social outlet for persons who might otherwise be without one.

2. It can make people feel less alienated after a loss since they know others are going through the same thing.

3. It may create a sense of community and shared purpose, which can be quite inspiring.

Since the chance to lose money 50:50, I think we can say that we should lose money in betting. However, each gambler may have a different result in betting. Some gamblers may often to win the betting, others may be very rarely winning the bet. I think it is normal and each gambler understands this very well. That's why some gamblers don't prioritize winning as their main goals because it is unlikely to be achieved. Some gamblers prefer to enjoy the process, they enjoy the game. They like playing the game that can triggers their adrenaline. If they are lucky, they may get a prize. This is a simple tought that some gamblers believe.

Well, it is a personal assumption, it is an own view. Ever gambler has their own goal, every person has their own purpose. In this matter, we can't blame others with their personal opinion. Sure, in theory it won't be fun if we can't win the game. But in reality, there are some people who have no problem to lose money. Their main purpose is to get entertainment in gambling, they know it is not the best place to earn money regularly.

This is the only type of gambling where there is fun - sports betting. Your consolation comes from the bants with the fans of the opposing team and a bottle of beer while at it. That is the only fun. There is really no fun in a loss. Nobody likes to experience it. It is especially worse in a casino game like slot. If the loss continues you will then believe that the game is rigged, it leads pain.

It also came to mind to add that if you are gambling on someone's money(like a cash gift) and not yours that is the only time when you may have fun while losing because the money used to wager isn't your but was gifted you.

Really? If you play with someone else's money you still have to give it back. If that's your idea of fun, you will never have fun like that because I promise you nobody will come to you with a pile of money and say -here mate, play with it. If you lose it there's no consequences. On top of it you'd like to benefit from it? So you'd like him to tell you that here's his money, if you lose it's his loss, but if you win you both share the win You're such a dreamer if you believe that this will ever happen.

You don't have fun when you lose, you have fun when you play and losing is just a price to pay.

The only time you experience fun when you lose is when you gamble for the fun and entertainment and not for the money's, and anyone that gamble in this line of games will only use a very low amount to gamble, this way,, even if he loses the money, he will not feel bad about it.

Secondly gambling shouldn't be taken to mean a money making facility and do gamble with the predetermined mindset of making profits if you gamble in such thoughts, you will easily lose your peace of you lose the game.

The fun is there during the gambling session you played, not on its consequences. If you can't see any fun on the moment you are gambling, probably gambling isn't for you. So you should look for another hobbies which can be more emotionally rewarding. By your testimony, it looks like gambling is being painful for you, because you are losing money, and in no ways someone should do anything which is being harmful for them somehow. When gamblers who can afford to lose end losing money gambling, they just move on to their next appointment as soon as their gambling session is over without thinking on the loss, therefore this activity doesn't bring negative consequences for them the way it seems to be bringing to you.

If you keep thinking too much how gambling isn't being fun to you, it means that you used money you couldn't really lose or wasn't really willing to risk at all...
