I think this year the bitcoin can make their bitcoin price bigger, So we need to be focus here on bitcoin this year if we want to have a better earnings. Also I think the bitcoin recover and the bitcoin demand are continuously increasing so some of the beginners are need to focus to learn about bitcoin.

Yeah that is something happening right now. People just having hoax about it but not everyone is really trying to make anything out of it. Look at the current ICO project and tell me what you really see? Everyone is now trying to create their own blockchain and thus they are just copying the original one to create their own and forgetting about the original one at all. Whats the point of that if they have their own? Its no better than original as they might claim. Also only devs know rarely what blockchain is but not the common crowd who use the idea behind the project.

I would bet that almost 50% of people who enter the crypto world do not necessarily understand 100% of the blockchain itself. they only know where they will invest and will get profit. I myself only know that blockchain is a ledger that records all crypto transactions.

Exactly. Majority will think that blockchain = bitcoin. Lol.

Blockchain is the technology behind almost all crypto right now. Anyways, the more people understands the difference the more they're going to be a smart investors. If they heard that some  company invested or uses blockchain technology doesn't mean that bitcoin will go the moon. Smiley

'What is blockchain?' 'I don't know '!  Cheesy Cheesy This definitely cracked me up! In as much as it is a joke,  it still have a very stong meaning backing it up. It's so unfortunate that a lot of people are merely talking about blockchain but still yet they don't know what it truly means. Some just want to flow with the latest topic just because of the fear of being left out.

two things are funny about this picture, the obvious fault that people these days have thinking blockchain is the solution for everything! which i was talking about a couple of days ago with a friend, that these days you keep reading in the news that someone started using the blockchain technology. then no matter how much you try to wrap your head around it you can not think of any reason why they would use it!

the other one is that the person who did the edit thinks the same way but he thinks DAG is now the solution to everything Cheesy
Directed Acyclic Graph is a pretty interesting technology but it (like blockchain) has its usages and also its own disadvantages. (you can find them online with some search). it is not something you use just because you want to be moving where the hype is!

OP, that cartoon sums up my feeling about most people in the ICO space.  Not all, certainly--there are some incredible geniuses, but I suspect that the average gambler from a poor country just wants to get rich and doesn't understand solutions where blockchains are appropriate, and where they're not.  I'm by no means an expert myself, but I'm also not buying into these crazy projects.

All of this reminds me of the late 1990s.  Everyone was sure the internet was going to be the death knell for brick-and-mortar businesses, and internet stocks soared even if the businesses had no viable business plan.  It was a crazy time then, and it's looking to be almost as crazy now.

Yep, most of people that are in here just want the money behind blockchain and not because for it may give us in the future. It is all about the money and not the technology.

The Blockchain is so simple and yet 90% of the people still don't understand how it works.
It's just a bunch of independent computers, who verify transactions by solving complex math tasks.
For that work (solving complex math tasks),they get rewarded with bitcoins. This is also known as bitcoin mining.I guess that this is the most simple explanation of all times. Grin
Great drawing, by the way.

If it sounds great, it's good marketing.

Honestly, it's just a safer way to create a publicly available database of sorts. It's mostly used as currency because each unit is immutable.
