You have to do your own home work. When I started, I invested on Litcoin which went up ..then I realised the true potential of altcoin and ICO. Started researching on Altcoins and participated in new ICO. Made like x3 profit.

For someone that thinks bitcoin investment isn't that worth with small amount, he won't buy bitcoin but this is the best coin to buy even with $100 or depending on how much you are willing to invest with. But if you don't want to invest in bitcoin and you are scared that it will plummet again, there's ETH and if you want to, you can also invest to the cheap coins that you can have thousands in quantity.You relaying on my personal view of bitcoin as the investment but most of the people thinks that they can get the more money in the cheap altcoins or new airdrops comes in the market. But we will not surely says that those projects will get success in the market for sure but people still believing that and invest without knowledge.
Atleast they can invest on ethereum or Monero that is maximum you have to do to get the more money back.
Bitbean of course you could buy 40,000+ of them and put them in your wallet, after its finished synchronizing, and sprout 1000-2000 more coins each month and grow your money.
The reason that you ask us where to invest your 500$ is so much wrong that i can not think about anything less wrong. Yes, some of them will tell you to invest in the X, others to Y,U,Z. And where it leaves you? - At the start, and problem is? -You, because you are familiar with the market, you don't know how, where, how much, when, which, and you are looking for answers in other people. submit all capital small altcoin like yours for xlm or nxt and wait a couple months then surely the result will be very large even in the capital that you can give back by half.

for that $500, I will use $250 for bitcoin and $250 for the altcoin. since there is too many good altcoin that have possibility to increase, maybe I will only select the price less than $10-$50 and maybe I will buy for each of the coin for $50. and I think with $250, I can have 3-7 list of coins. maybe the list will be xem, xrp, str, waves, xvg, ada and I think it is enough if I can hold it for a long-term so for every of the coin will increase later.
As for me, it's a good time to invest. 500$ is good money to try investment in crypto. 30% in Bitcoin another 70% in coin with small quantity (less than 100m)

Agree with you.. No matter how money you got 10$ 500$ or 5000$. You should be rigorous in choosing coins to invest. Read forum, news channel, authorityperson who can help to choose instrument to investment.

Choose some new coins, put 50$ in each and check them after 6 months
