You should store your ICO tokens in wallets that you control. The project creators will tell you the kind of wallets that they are using for their coins but if they have their own wallets then they will tell people where to get it. Always make sure that you are storing your tokens in wallets which you control the private keys to. If you do not have control of your private keys then you do not have control of your coins.

Always store your token and coin in a wallet you have control of. Control simply mean you have the private key to those wallet. Another way to keep your coin for long holding is to save your coin in cold wallet!

I use MEW for storing ICO Tokens. In order to be safe I'm have few wallets. One I use for storing bounty tokens, another one for those I buy, and one more wallet for trading. In this case there will be less risk to loose all the tokens if someone hack your account.

So where can I store ICO tokens that are built on Ethereum ERC20 Tokens

I know of Myetherwallet but its confusing to me.

I know you can send the ErC20 tokens to any Ether wallet, but where would i see the breakdown of how many I have in a wallet?

Myetherwallet is kinda good
U can just check in on http://etherscan.io/address/(Address) For the (Address), remove the () and key in your address to check what tokens u have

well, myetherwallet is the best option i guess. and especially if the token didn't on any exchange yet, myetherwallet is safest place to put your tokens

I store my tokens in MyetherWallet and imtoken these both have good UI and easy to use. Metamask is also good just visit on these website and app and choose yourself which is good according to your choice.

Maybe you mean you can't see the token that was received because the token has not been modified.
We can check all of them if you have the private key, then find the modification of the token, decimal and smartcontract.

good luck !

I generally send them to a wallet with private keys usually accessing through myetherwallet. I import the key into metamask while making a trade.
Though there are risks, if you use proper caution, using private key is one of the easiest and safest way to get along with your funds.

Myetherwallet is one of the user friendly wallet. To send tokens, you have to load the tokens you are holding on. For viewing of token, just use Etherscan to search for your ETH address.

What's the problem with myetherwallet? I am using it from a longtime ago. You have to keep the keystore file and private key in a safe place. If you receive any ICO token you can view it from www.etherscan.io

We can store ICO tokens in ethereum wallet.
There are several kinds of ethereum wallets that we can use, namely:
1.MyEtherWallet (Online)
2.MetaMask (Firefox and Chrome browser extension)
3.Mist (Desktop)
4.Parity (Desktop)
5.imToken (iPhone)
6.imToken (Android)

I always store my tokens in Imtoken wallet and myetherwallet. For imtoken it is easier to access using a smartphone, so if you want to make a sale to the exchange, you can do it anywhere. There are still mist, metamask and other wallets that can be used to store tokens. All depends on each individual, want to use which one.

I think myetherwallet is enough to store the ERC20 Tokens and if you want to buy and sell on the idex, fordelta, etherdelta, you can directly to log in to that site using your account in myetherwallet. and you can also send the token to another wallet if you want too and you don't have to wait for a long time. as long as you can keep your private keys, then you don't have to worry about anything.

MyEtherWallet is a great place to store your ERC-20 tokens, you can always see exactly what you own if you use etherscan with your wallet address. If you want to see the tokens in MyEtherWallet also then you need to use the Add Custom Token function after that they will always appear in your wallet

You can view the balance of your wallet without accessing MEW - just enter the address of your wallet on the website etherscan.io

There are plenty of options for that :
You could use Myetherwallet , where you can have the private key of your wallet and make sure that the website does not store your private key.
Metamask is a good one too , it also protect you against phishing
I can suggest eidoo wallet where you can use it's mobile phone's app too.
There is another good wallet called blue protocol where you can store your erc20 tokens on it and it has a good roadmap if they can catch up.

We have so many ERC 20 compliant wallets that you can successfully store your tokens with relative ease. Aside myetherwallet, I will suggest you use IM Token or Eidoo. These wallets are cool especially the IM Token. It's my favorite...

Can be stored anywhere : purse, or exchange. The main thing to keep your passwords secret-and remember about the security of your keys. When storing on a wallet , use a cold wallet

Personally I store on Myetherwallet. I really like and causes great respect for this wallet . Some tokens I keep on the exchanges - to which they came out, in order to sell quickly with good growth
