The internet has made my life as a graduate student so much easier. Research takes about a tenth as long as it did when we had to sit in the library and dig books off of shelves. Now I can just look up articles and download the pdf!
However I think the internet has also made people nastier in general. It makes me sick to see some of the comments people put on the internet while they hide behind their electronic veil. It is easier to stalk people (facebook, anyone?) and to ruin someone's life (identity theft, hacking).

Society wouldn't be the same without the internet, but I think we would be fine. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if infrastructure crumbled and we had to go back to small societies and self-sufficiency.

If there would be no internet,it slows down the communication,it slows down the social knowledge and slows down the economy.No internet,no bitcoin.

Without the internet, most of mankind will start to socialize with their fellow man and we will stop being so addicted to our phones in the first place, people will start going to the Library for information and not online it will be tedious though.

The Question have the positive and the Negative aspect. The society would have been on the part of not really knowing a lot of things, which cannot be equated to ignorance, but lack of knowledge.So the lack of internet would have impacted on the society a bad undeveloped society that lacks Developmental breakthrough due to lack of internet, this is the Negative aspect.The vast development as a result Internet cannot be overemphasized,as the results is very high in our educational sector, where with internet, a lot of research have been carried out, with excellent results.There are a lot of organizations who can hardly function effectively without the internet, this is the positive aspect. It will not have make life easy without internet.

Well it's hard not to be too engaged since most of what we do today revolves around it. He internet has pushed our daily living to another level and though we still can live witbout it, it going to hard for us to adapt back if it is removed

I think if life has no internet, people will be closer together. That's great, I like life without internet. I like people living close to each other, because I see people are far apart, when I go to cafe with my friends, people talk less, my friends just look at the phone

We would still be in a much more psychical world where things are a lot more hands-on. for example, do you remember when we used maps to navigate? I mean real, physical maps. Those were the days. hahaha!

The Internet has become the Archimedean point in our daily life. Almost nothing gets done without it nowadays. The more we rely on it.
The more it seems impossible to live without it. It is undoubtedly the most reliable machine Man has ever made (Internet)
