Change would happen at a much slower pace, which many would see as a bad thing. People would probably be less angry though, ignorance is bliss.

We won't be able to tell now how we'd all be since the internet today is a vital need in society. It's not only necessary but it's necessity up to the lowest ranks. Though we can't say because people may have found another way if we didn't have internet. Some other things may have blossomed in place of it which perhaps have the same effect the internet has right now

We must take into account the fact that today almost half of the world's population communicate on the Internet, because it is social networks that they can open up or be what they want to be. Basically in real life people hide behind double masks and nobody opens up, because the world has become evil.
A lot has changed and is continuously changing since the improvement of the internet, where anyone can access it anytime and anywhere he or she likes. But, come to think of it, there are really advantages of having an internet connection and using it. It is much convenient and practical to use than snail mails or what not. I mean, snail mails are sweet and all but we are now living in a fast phasing generation so, we also need things that can cope up with it.

Probably people will have more friends, more relations between them and more knowledge...40 years ago we didn't have internet and everything was working good. Airplanes, companies, trading, post office,banks..all. Internet offers you everything just click away. Before if you need some info you needed to search books,go to library, ask somebody..people were more social..
Indeed. How do you feel about actually finding information quickly though? Do you believe people in your development would know a certain amount of info than somebody perhaps 1000 miles away? I'm not saying you're wrong. Just asking what you feel about the specific question.

True, people in the past was socially active to each other, like your example. People need informations to other peoples, they ask for it and having a personal communication. Getting a information is very slow, we must do a process for every single info we want to get. Definitely about bitcoin, There is no bitcoin if there is no internet, im not typing this if there is no internet that has been created.

We are living without hatred, no cyber bullying, no porn sites, less crime on exposing nude photos. Every family manages their family day going on a trip or having reunion. And our childhood days might be more happier than today.

And of course no bitcoin  ,if our society is out of internet for sure we do not know about this forum and also the bitcoin, im glad that i already know the bitcoin , i have future here, not only me we all can learn about bitcoin because of internet.
I agree. We won't be able to explore more about bitcoin. Bitcoin has been very helpful to me since the profit that I get from different campaigns are the money that I use for me and my family's daily living expenses.

If the internet had not been invented, we would probably live in a electricity hyper powered Bruce Willis - Mel Gibson movie kinda world. Cheesy

I also like the thought that everybody could have their own little garden plot and we are feeding each other Roll Eyes

A society without the Internet will spend more time outdoors. But the Internet now is necessary for many for earnings, therefore it is impossible to refuse from it completely, and it is possible to limit only quantity of time.

True, without the internet today, we can see that we could live like old times. We get an idea and knowlegde about things through reading newspaper, magazines in the library. Children will spend their time to play toys in the neighborhood. Without having an internet has good and bad impact in the society.

Fast, Smart, Trustworthy
Without the Internet people will communicate more in real life, and children play on the street, but the business will suffer greatly because of the lack of fast communication and automatic payments. In the end, without the Internet, you can not use bitcoin.

The internet has made my life as a graduate student so much easier. Research takes about a tenth as long as it did when we had to sit in the library and dig books off of shelves. Now I can just look up articles and download the pdf!

However I think the internet has also made people nastier in general. It makes me sick to see some of the comments people put on the internet while they hide behind their electronic veil. It is easier to stalk people (facebook, anyone?) and to ruin someone's life (identity theft, hacking).

Much better. People would not live for something that is not reachable for them. I guess there would be much less depression among the people. We would be more communative.
I would be far more depressed if I was forced into a "tribe" by birth to be honest. Talking to people can be the most depressing thing ever, most people just repeat what everyone else is saying and almost nobody really cares about anything whatsoever in their lives.

Your guess?

I think the society would be back to normal. People would laugh more and friendlier compared to what they are today. Internet killed people's social ability. People became lazy and unsociable. They spend less time talking with their family and friends because of the internet. Most of the people would spend their time on the internet chatting and nosing around other people's lives.
It's always easy to blame a medium for people's lack of motivation or attitude. But in reality, it's the people, not the internet. Not too long ago people said the same bullshit about books. Today everyone goes on about how the internet is ruining everything and nobody reads books anymore.

Do people really not realize that it's literally always the same story just with new toys and words?

A few decades from now people will start the same nonsense over fully-immersive virtual reality, and then they'll start nagging over the same nonsense in a virtual game world they've created without even realizing it.

Humans... the smartest species on earth......

Society without internet will have its advantages and disadvantages....
Pne of its advantage is that family may have closer family ties as compared to the time that we have internet.
We cant deny the fact that family interractions nowadays were greatly reduced since its members are engulf to their own in the internet...
Maybe without internet family members will have more time enjoying each others company.....

You can't compare the world of internet with the traditional premitive life with out Internet. Let take for example in those day when there was no internet, people mostly use the post office to communicate with love ones and this process taketime.e when you want to inform a son about his father taking ill, you first of all write a letter then go to the post office to post and it will take days before the letter is delivered to the son and some time before the son could come the father is already dead. But with internet with one click you have communicate with any body any where. I can still go on and on on the advantage of internet in the modern society.
