AIX - working blockchain insurance product, prediction markets, testnet launch, currently at 450K market cap. The team regularly updates their blog and pushes working code to Github daily.
There are lots of altcoins in the system now through which some are scam and others are genuine. I personally will recommend ethereum, litecoin and ripple because they have bright future and have the potential.
Now it is very difficult to find a good coin to invest. It seems to me that it is dangerous to invest at a time when the market is in decline.
the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin,vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

Well, my advise to you if are really wanted to invest in alts coin you must preferable into top 10 of coinmarketcap because this is suitable for bigger earnings. Like Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Stellar, and EOS. This is because it became most demand coins by most investors and currently being pump by community for better future.

But how do I know if a coin is popular, except for ETH and BTC, I find the rest of the coins too dangerous for us to hold, but I hold ETH in the long term because I believe that this coin will soon recover. And now they are slowly rising again 
Right now so many good promising Altr coin in a very cheap price specially Eth LTC NEO . These 3 coin is my one of the best coin so if you want to go for longterm Invest I think Eth is the best option.
Don't put that money into NEO if you want to have that money. Most people are losing money by picking crappy coins.

Looking at the current situation of the market I suggest you invest in BCC, AE, XRP, ETH, and BTC. BCC will increase in price in coming days prior to fork. BTC price will increase in in early 2019 as predicted. AE and XRP also have great potential to grow and will take a major chunk of the market cap in near future.

There are 5 top coins I think that it will bring good profit for you at least the end of this year : Ripple, Cardano, Stella, Bat and Cybermile (CMT)
Of the top 10, I like xlm, cardano the most, and of the top 30, most iota, 0x, neo
But I would not take 0x, he is not at the bottom

now all altcoins fall sharply including bitcoin, so you can choose what you like. because every growth will not really happen for this day or month.
but if you have large funds you can buy lots of alts which are really useful like 10 top alt
every week or every month there will always be raids at that time we can't post in a few days, because ico is in a difficult time for the next month
i dont know this gonna work if you are looking something different projects or unique from others. but i do believe that if there's a new project that no one with same setup or a vision in the future use. i think make a move and take an valuable amount from there.

Look at coinmarketcap. There are quite a lot of them. You can look at such coins as Cardano, XRP, TRON. They are not bad and cost just as much as you need. Please can someone tell me good coins a least five different coins below $1?
Not sure why it matters, that a coin worth less than 1 dollar, the total market cap is way more important, like Ripple for example, cost less than a dollar, but still the 3rd most expensive coin we can say.
