I am not sure how serious I can take a list like that when there missing Dash on it. The only currency with a blockchain as secure and trustless as bitcoin with, only one with instant sent, and plenty of room for transactions and clear and most realistic roadmap for (on-chain) scaling, and with Dash evolution at the end of the year, the first coin to have an wallet as easy as paypal and as decentralized as bitcoin. In other words they probably missed, that's a great opportunity for others
ETH is a good choice especially with its price these days. well, any in the top 10 i think is a safe bet
There are many altcoins and yes, I also think Ethereum is a good coin that's capable to change our lives. It is the most profitable altcoin and has a promising future in cryptoworld. Actually i believe ETH,Waves,NEO are awesome and promising coin. If we buy this and hold for long term then I can say that, this altcoins are going to change your lives.

Most of you are completely off topic and some of you even needlessy rude. Once again I don t want to hear about altcoins that are going to bring me profit, but about projects that are tackling big challenges in today's society and solve them with blockchain.
I´ve read two pages of answers and I spared myself reading the rest. It seems like impossible to talk about cryptos in a serious way without tons of people shilling their stack.
btt: I can´t quite imagine that there will be one or several altcoins that changes our lives palpably in a way computers or smartphones did. I´d rather guess that some coins (or the platform/projects on which they are based) will affect different sectors of different people´s lives, depending on, for example, what they are working with, consuming or producing.

For arguably worse - XRP. I just don't like this in general, because I think it goes against what most of cryptocurrency stands for in general.

I think that XRP is really a good coin for you now. It was created from a good project and it was used by many banks in the world. the bright future is waiting for it.

i think ethereum is that altcoin that will change my life one day, because i believe in the next 3 year ethereum will again a high potential value that will be upto 10x greater than as it is now

I'm sorry for all the ones looking for speculations, this is not the purpose of the thread. I want to hear from the community about which coins will be making a difference in our world over the next few years.
I would go for Ripple and Ethereum these two has great impact in terms of crypto banking industry and smart projects. These two altcoins are very certain to grow most especially if you hold this for long-term. In terms of price both have not yet reach the peak price, there are lot of room for improvement.

But somehow I'm sure that it will be useful if the market goes up. Unfortunately, I do not have such great investment opportunities, so I can only choose a few coins. I'll go for ethereum. Ever since I have been in cryptocurrency world, I've got my eye on ethereum. I knew that this coin will be successful in the future since its for the long term. And many people who are engage in cryptocurrency world are into ethereum also. They have seen how ethereum growth in the past few years which makes then trust more in ethereum and invest in that coin.
When we talked up about altcoin, ethereum is on the top list of a profitable kind of altcoin. So if we're going to invest in altcoin that would help us changed our lives it was ethereum. Since it is second to bitcoin and Also it's characteristics of being stable is one of the attractive part of it.
I think the vision for the Alt coin Deep Onion is interesting, Im looking to the future and hanging onto mine for the long term, Hopefully it will change my life when im rich, lol

Please be specific for the word"different" because two result is possible.First is by losing your money from a scam ico, you as from having something into nothing, and second is from having a little into greater. See? Both can make us different? 
I think that coins with the future it is BTC, ETH, ADA, NAC, NEO, XEM, EOS. The bitcoin is a symbol of cryptocurrency, and others it is platforms with pesrpektivy. I am confident in them.
