For local wallets I think Multibit is the best (and they are working on a new version that looks awesome). For convenience, blockchain.

back when i was looking for an SPV wallet i was considering Multibit but i have heard some horror stories about it; besides they enforced additional fees in order to use their "free" wallet so i switched to Electrum and i am happy with it so far.

XT - full node (because I want bitcoin to progress and dislike the Blockstream rule and their agenda)

Core - wallet kept offline on dedicated laptop, holds some part of my bitcoin savings (I will swap this to xt if majority forms around XT by january)

Paperwallets - (safety)

Copay - mobile (primary mobile wallet for spending on the go)

Mycelium - mobile (secondary mobile wallet)

Bitcoin wallet - mobile (redundancy)

Where is my ring of blades...
Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? If you use web wallets, please do mention which one is your choice and why ?

I use blockchain.info as a web wallet (started with this wallet) because it is easy to use and popular.
and then switched majority of my bitcoins to Electrum wallet since it is a light wallet, and offers more security than an online wallet.

Think of it,  if i have a choice to create a peper wallet why would i rather not choose it?  But yep keeping a piece of paper is more easy than keeping a computer secure

I came here because i want to know what bitcoin client suites me for cold storage on mobile,  any suggestion?

Cold storage on mobile? So you'll have a mobile phone that isn't connected to the internet in any way to store your coins... Why not go for a hardware wallet or a paper wallet then?

This is a terrible idea. Cold storage should only be done on non electronic device, basically a BIP38 wallet printed on a paper covered in plastic so it stays the test of time for hundreds of years if needed.

Its all i have to use,  and for me its more convenient to use,  and i have an old phone where tto back up my btc

but you know cold storage means: offline storage... In that case i wouldn't use my phone, but i would print a paper wallet instead...  Wink

Let's talk governance, lipstick, and pigs.
XT and blockchain.info
Yep. You have to be pragmatic and not idealistic. I would add Trezor if I had one.

i am using blockchain.info but i want to switch to something else

If you don't want to run a full node I would recommend armory or electrum. Allowing you to be in control of your own keys and also restore from word seed back up.

as far as i know Armory is full node too, it is the same as bitcoin core but with some extra features.
but electrum is the light weight (SPV) wallet that you want to use if you cant run a full node.

I used in the beginning bitcoin core qt because I wanted to have my bitcoin in my computer. This make me feeling safe. But then I thought that the most little problem in my computer can lost my bitcoin even if I might save the day file. Who knows which can happen to the dat file? So I chose them a very wonderful web wallet which, among others, pay even the fee of every my transaction with my bitcoins. From that time I am very happy with this wallet and I think I will not change it.

My preferred wallet is still Bitcoin Core. Why? because im paranoid about other non "official" wallets somehow failing on me, and im also nostalgic and like the old school vibe of it.

Just download the bitcoin core wallet from scratch and it took 1.5 days which is pretty pleasing.  On an older laptop im 1 day in and looks like about 25% is done so far.... doh!

That very much depends on the speed of your bandwith. Cost of your bandwith is also another consideration. Many people around the world have slow speeds and also have very strict limits on the amount of down/up streaming they can do.

For this reason SPV wallets, although not the most secure, offer a great alternative.
