I use localbitcoins, if thats consider an exchange. But, not used btc-e or mt.gox or any other ones.

I've only used Bittylicious but I like how fast you get your coins.
I was surpised how quick it was. Bittylicious is good for cash purchases but for coin trades I use Btce.

Not sure if it has been hacked, but it definitely has been ddos'ed quite often.

Localbitcoins was hacked recently, with people who had coins stored on their localbtc wallets reporting they got robbed. Every exchange can and will get hacked. Even giant corporations and governments systems get hacked frequently.

It depends on what you want to do. I'm a bot coder, so the API is maybe the feature, that matters most to me.

Coinmarket. Have used BTC-e though and that was good.
