Let's talk about KYC and non-KYC casinos. There are many casinos in the space, and probably most of them require KYC (Know Your Customer) since they hold a license. However, some do not promote that requirement. In fact, I've read comments mentioning that there are casinos which initially claim they don't require KYC but later do, based on their own judgment.

So, if we could find a casino that genuinely adheres to what they advertise (whether as a non-KYC or KYC casino), which one would we trust to gamble with? Additionally, if you have doubts, what are the risks you might be taking that could bother you while regularly gambling at such a casino?
Going by what you have you have stated on the basis that this who requires KYC are those who have been licensed to operate in a particular area, this is a good way to make claims for accountability, if a particular casino is regulated they would want the KYC to gain the trust of their regulators to see that they are genuine enough to get licensed to operates within that region and if in the situation where they have any form of misconduct, you could channel your complaint to an appropriate channel from which you will be able to get response and whatever the situation is it could be fixed and laundry via casinos can be in check thereby building the trust they would need both by the government and their customers but with those who don't require KYC, the chances of them been fraudulent becomes higher so conclusively, the ones who require KYC remains the best choice.

In theory and also in practice you should trust the one who requires KYC as it should be more reputable,I am not saying go and trust a KYC casino that has just popped up,no,I mean a casino that is been operating from years and have KYC you should definitely trust them.
I think that even a casino doesn't have a KYC but it's been running for a long time now, that can be a good indication to tell that it was legit and that is actually better because we can attain full anonymity there and there are no hassles of verifying a KYC anymore since they can also take a long time to be finished.

The reason is very simple,if some dispute, some huge win needs to be validated this can be solved easily if you have passed KYC while if you are unverified the casino may play all sort of tricks to call those win void,I know it is not right but that is how important KYC is nowadays in this industry.
Why will someone dispute a huge win? But there might be a valid reason for it and if you are guilty, it will only be easy for the casino to catch you because you already provided your KYC and this might be another reason on why they require a KYC. Meanwhile, that's a shady move if casino will void a win only because you are not verified.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
The casino I wouldn't trust is the one that says it does KYC, but doesn't want it until you win and decide to withdraw, then suddenly you're a suspect.
I'd also not trust a casino that says it's non KYC and then ask for documents.
These situations can happen anytime with a casino moving from non-KYC to KYC. But as long as they are reputed on this forum and are active in solving money related problems, they are good.

The scam casinos will not to be coming to this forum to advertise their product.

Most of them are running an honest business or at least trying to. Lets keep the paranoia out and play as we wish and if you dont like KYC, dont play.

For me, whether it’s KYC required or not doesn’t really matter. If the casino is providing all the things that it has promised, then I am ready to play on that site. Yes, I will prefer no KYC casinos if it’s given a choice, as who likes to do the document verification and go through a long process? Hence, the non-KYC casinos will be at top priority. But as we know, all the casinos that have a license ask users to do KYC; hence, I won’t mind doing KYC either. I just want my winnings to be credited when I win at a casino.
I reckon. It doesn't matter if they ask kyc or not. Because as long as you're given the best service and you're not having any problems with them then that's the reason why it doesn't really matter at all.

While there are gamblers that has this as a big issue and they can't stop themselves from checking it out.

Most are really non kyc until you wanna go out on them and withdraw that huge amount of money that you've won.

Trust doesn't comes from kyc, it comes from aspect of reputation. If a casino doesn't cheat user and everything they does is okay, they have fast deposit and withdrawals and doesn't block accounts as some other casinos do sometimes, then I will trust that casino more than anyone that has kyc and but do the opposite or doesn't have KYC and yet still do the opposite, it's not like KYC is the basic thing a person would have to look before using the casino.

However, for privacy sake, if all casino can actually function without KYC, it will help customers protect there privacy as they don't need to upload there sensitive information to any centralized platforms, it should be strictly based on no kyc but that privilege will be abuse by the same customers who doesn't want to do kyc, there will be multiple accounts and abuse of bonus, some people will have many account as possible which many casino don't like, it create room for cheating.

I'd trust both as long as they openly state what documents and in what form are required, or in the case of non KYC if it really was a non KYC casino that doesn't act like they don't want KYC byt in some extreme cases they do.

I trust casinos that enforce KYC more on their users, that's because casinos like this are regulated directly by the gaming commission and they are monitored regarding their operations. With this regulation, it makes players feel safer and more protected when playing and will prevent casinos from doing things that are detrimental to gamblers. Regarding personal data that might be hacked, I think that it is something that cannot be avoided when we give our personal data to third parties - that even companies like Google or Facebook have the possibility of being hacked, so even though I am worried about that, at least the casino has tried to protect user data with the various technologies they implement.

Right now I don't care much about KYC but what I'm looking for a casino is their reputation and how people give their feedback or reviews on their favorite casinos.

Good point. Gamblers should trust reputation of a casino, instead of KYC or non-KYC thing. It is better gamble safe, then to pass KYC and get scammed by casino. Moreover, many people can explain why they are against KYC. Someone said he is against it, some read scary stories in the internet, and now all without exception say they dont want to pass it, because they care about privacy (yet upload lots of personal information on social media and give documents for copy just to get a little discount or at first request). In some cases its humans greed why they dont want to pass KYC. Because people are afraid to be asked to share prize in way of paying a tax.

I think it depends on the reputation of the casino, but generally, when a casino operates under a license, they tend to have more trust from the community because they feel like they can't just close shop and go away whereas a casino that doesn't have a valid license can do that without any problem because they don't have a license from a licensing firm and they are in no way bound to keep operating legally.

For me, I would say that I wouldn't have a problem gambling in a casino that doesn't require KYC or have a license as long as it has a good reputation in the gambling community because if they have been operating for some time, they wouldn't scam their gamblers, besides, I never deposit a lot of money, so I won't have a problem even if things go south.

Also depends on the length of service by those casino since if they already exist for long years then people would able to think that they are upgrading their selves and make their business a compliant to government regulation and for sure with those cases lots of people will trust them because they think that its more safe to play on those casisno since they are now regulated by the law.

But for new casino? Well I guess many people would really doubt for their KYC requirements asked since I understand that people is so concern on their identities and provably they or we won't give it to any platform that doesn't have anything proven yet in the community. Right now I don't care much about KYC but what I'm looking for a casino is their reputation and how people give their feedback or reviews on their favorite casinos.

Yeah, I will also do KYC if it’s a reputable gambling site, and I have no other alternative left, but let me ask you a question. if you are given the opportunity to choose between a casino that requires KYC and one that doesn’t, which one are you going to choose if the two casinos have an equal reputation? Some people don’t really know the implications of submitting their identities anyhow. That’s why even on some sites that are not really legitimate, immediately they request for kyc, some people will complete it immediately, and they don’t know the implications of doing that.
If we can do KYC in the first time we register at the reputable gambling site, we will not have a problem while we playing gambling on that site. The casino will allow us to deposit or withdraw much money because they already checking our account with the identity we sent to them.

If both casino have an equal reputation, I will check the different and will choose what makes me comfortable because I playing gambling on the casino site to gets the comfortable matters. I realizes the risks of submitting my identities to any third party but I will make sure that sites can be trusted to take care of the private documents.

I also don't have a problem with KYC at the casino. but some casinos do not ask their users to directly carry out KYC at the beginning of account creation. Casino users can create an account and immediately make a deposit then play. As long as you don't carry out suspicious activities, the casino will not ask for KYC. and some users are asked for KYC after winning and making a withdrawal.
Some users complained about this problem, which could actually be written in the casino rules which the user might have missed. when we understand how the casino operates and know the casino rules, it is actually not that difficult to provide KYC. but some gamblers do have problems with KYC. it is a choice.
We can asks to their support system about when we must do KYC so we will knows what we must do with that site. If we agree with their rules, we can continue registering ourselves and just playing gambling with small money so we don't have obligation to do KYC. But we gets comfortable while playing gambling on that site, we will do KYC and sends the documents to the casino.

Those who complain with the rules should asks the  support system from casino so they can knows what they must do. It is our responsible so we must make sure that everything is like what we wants. Casino have rules and we must obey it and we are not agree with the rules, we can search for the other casino.

I think casino's that requires KYC sounds more legit or trustworthy especially if it has additional good reputation from it's players. But nowadays seems non-KYC casinos are booming esepcially in Telegrams and other web3 platforms I think though I am not that sure because I never have tried on yet but it actually caught my attention recently however I had to wait for more extra time to gather positive and honest feedbacks from other players before jumping into it.
Yes, it is true that casinos that implement KYC are clearly more legitimate and safe, but that must still be an evaluation of their site, for example when online casinos implement KYC and also strict regulations to prevent money laundering or other criminal acts, at least they also facilitate the security of their site is truly safe so that there is no theft of user information that has been collected, this will clearly be detrimental to users and damage user trust in casinos that implement a KYC system.

Even though there are many choices of non-KYC casinos, it still won't look safe because the site could go bankrupt or just leave with our money without knowing the status of the gambling site. I also support sites that implement KYC as long as their site really maintains strict information. all of its users will definitely be safe and fine, this is of course a problem of lack of user trust in online casinos that implement KYC, casino security must be increased further so that everyone truly feels safe and no longer worries if the casino asks for user KYC.

In trusting a casino, the most important thing is a reputation, KYC or No KYC actually does not have a significant impact on user trust.
I will still trust casinos that have been operating for a long time and have a good reputation even if they dont have a license and dont ask for KYC.
But for new casinos, obviously I will only choose officially licensed casinos even though they are required to do KYC.

Actually in current days the number of scammers is increasing day by day and in case of non-kyc casino's they have to be decentralized And in my opinion the number of scammers is higher in decentralized casinos  and if you looking for the licenced casinos you will not find in the case of decentralized casinos so choosing non-kyc have a chances to scam.
And this is the reason I'm playing on kyc required casino's there are multiple casinos in my choice like the Duel bits, Rollbits, Stake etc. These casinos already gain the trust of the community and also mine and I don't see any hidden terms like the don't ask the kyc and after withdrawing and something else cause so these are fair enough in my view

I don't have any problem with kyc casino provided the casino will deliver quality service. What I'm after is my satisfaction as a gambler. When I say satisfaction, I mean delivery if quality services, prompt payment of my winnings. It could be that the regulations require them to run kyc so I don't mind passing kyc. Gambling is not illegal, the casino just want to know the details of their customers, so I can provide it for them without thinking it twice. Moreover I have always submitted my documents to banks, immigration services, government establishments and so on without any reservation. My choice for KYC casino is that they will offer good services as they have known that you are a loyal customer who has went through the stress of entrusting them with your details, so they understand that it's only their quality service that made you do such a thing and they wouldn't want to disappoint you, hence my choice for a KYC casino.

I will do KYC if the casino have good reputation among the other casino and that casino have license. That casino should asks their members to do KYC instead to asks that when their members wins much money. Their customer will see that the casino wants everything transparant so the casino asks their members doing KYC to make sure that they will not have a problem. Many casino now asks for KYC so we will difficult to finds the casino without asking KYC.

Even if that exist, we must be careful and make sure that the casino have good reputation or not because many casinos can turn becomes scam. If the casino promote that they don't require KYC, we must asks about that to make sure with contacting their support system so we can knows if they are not asking KYC, even if we wins much money. But if they tells that there are a limitation for their members to free from KYC, that will be up to us to continue or search for the other casino.
I also don't have a problem with KYC at the casino. but some casinos do not ask their users to directly carry out KYC at the beginning of account creation.
