bitcoin is a good coin for a long term investment it will having a good price year by year so if you are planning to have an investment and have a holdings then bitcoin is best for you to choose.
Stellar - it isnt a security. Stellar doesnt have a for profit company hoarding a massive amount of the tokens. Stellar has a DEX at the heart of the protocol with atomic path finding and lightning coming in Dec 2018. IBM is onboarding their massive financial partners to provide liquidity on the SDEX. Bancor Network Token and the EOS is for long term investment asset where you will be safe of down fall of the crypto in high volatile situation because these coins are not so much affected by the market trembling.

5-10 years is a very long time in the cryptographic world, therefore it is impossible to predict. But I think that BTC and ETH will almost certainly be. And other coins NEO and OMG can also be at the top.

I feel like omisego is going to very great investment in 3 years. There are other powerful but nearly unknown coins/tokens like aventus and musicoin which are on great ideas. But noone knows if these are gonna work. Good development is the most important thing really.
I think if there are coins which are good for long-term investment, I will prefer the main coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, NEO, EOS, litecoin and bitcoincash because it will definitely last for good due to its capability to surpass its red period and turn in green easily.

Every alt coin increase in price when the time comes it is just matter of time, waiting for the coins to reach its estimated value. Choose a coin that has a low price but has a great project that will have such a high demand in the future so that it will increase its price just how it is estimated. For me I would invest in the top 10 coins because i can see that those coins has a good price and market value. Like ethereum, cardano and most likely bitcoin

Every coin has an aspect they specialize fully in. When it comes to privacy and anonymity, then Monero , Dash , Verge , deeponion are your best bet cause they guarantee you just that.
But usecase of a particular coin should be what you arr really interested in as it detemines a lot. Ethereum is huge today cause of its massive wide-scale utilization. It provided smart contracts and the capablility to create tokens on its infrastrucure. This brought in more eyes and utilization. The same was experienced with NEO as well. So use case should be your major fofus.
I would pick the top two which are bitcoin and ethereum; any other coins can fall out; they are the only two that have stand the test of time
Long term coin are Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS. Tezos could have been but due to the recent infight . Bitcoin is still popular with any hindrance as it has been in the past. And the reason why bitcoin has helped many people become rich. But ETH, EOS is the future currency. So I chose BITCOIN, ETH and EOS
well, Ethereum will still be the best option of all altcoins or you can buy new projects like MET, NKN, SOUL, may will be good
