As a beginner,  I would advice you to study and understand  how the market works.  What the bears and bulls are.  So that in course of your buying,  if you come across a bears you wouldn't panic sell and find yourself at a loss. That being said before you buy any coin,  make sure you do some findings and have a reason for buying.  For me there are so many good altcoins to buy and make good profit but first I will advice you also get some btc for long  time investment .

Beginners do not need to take risks and invest in little - known crypto - currencies-it is better to buy successfully proven crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple.

A beginner needs to invest only in market leaders. Playing with projects you can lose your money. Choose ETH or Waves. Well, or other projects that have proven themselves.

For beginners, I think its best if you invest first to already established crypto like bitcoin and ethereum. From that, learn the process and know the tricks on how to earn from it. After that, you can try riskier and more complicated stuff.

So many of the altcoins are yet to have what will get them established in the crypto market, therefore their prices fluctuate tremendously. Which then means that, you might not be able to manage them well.
So to save yourself the stress, it will be better you invest in the top coins, such as bitcoin and ethereum.

They are all lacking the same issue: demand. Most of those decentralized applications are just not needed (yet) and without demand, you know where the price will go.

I think that if you invest, only in those coins that can survive in the long term, namely in such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, Ripple, OMG and Litecoin.

Your investment should be diversified. Do not invest everything in one basket even if it's for BTC or ETH. I would say have a combination of BTC and Altcoins and if you like ETH you can go for it as well.

Good POS/MN projects are good passive income source but then do select the projects with caution, in other words, do your research and only then invest your hard earned money.

Have a great day.

I will not say something new,but I am sure that the best way to buy this money is bitcoin (BTC),the most reliable investment.Although you can start with smaller amounts and try to see some altcoins from top 100 and their prospects, altcoins also can make very serious profit.

It seems to me that you do not need to go far to start, and it is best to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum, after studying the market you will be able to act more independently!

Talking from my knowledge, it would be good to understand the concepts of trading before investing
But on the long run, buying bitcoin is the best investment

Buy ethereum I think this is the right choice, no doubt about this coin, as the best altcoin of course you will benefit from what you are investing now, so don't hesitate to invest in ethereumn

Ethereum is a good suggestion given that they also transition to a POS system and make the coin more scarce due to people staking their ETH.

With your budget, you can buy a lot of coins, but most of the funds in my opinion should be spent on Ethereum and bitcoin, if you decide to start working with cryptocurrency, then you should have these coins

I recommend ETH and BNB for beginners, 30 tertas coins in coinmarketcap. the price of the coin can be said to be quite stable. but if you have the courage there is nothing wrong with investing in ICO.

note: do research before investing with ICO because it is very high risk.

For starters if you want to invest without doing much research (This is not recommended by the way) then you should stick with the top 25 - 30 coins from coinmarketcap. Most of them already have a proven track record and are at fractions of their values from early last year, so any return to a bull market should secure you some decent gains.
