For me i don't even wanna get stuck into the one coin as there is another coin that was also offering better volatility than ethereum. actually quite good to see the potential of each coin, especially if the coin has high fluctuation and the same signal. then it's easier to use. only me, there are always some coins that must be in your wallet to be stored in the long run, and that is a coin that really has potential. so far, I know that bitcoin and ethereum will make a big development this year, so I think both of these coins are very well retained in the long run.

Talking personally, I found BNB and NEO most profitable ones so far from my portfolio. It happened to me perhaps because I was among the early investors for both of these coins and once the coins were launched, the price quickly started moving in an ascending graph which made me have high yields.

I am always in search of such coins and once you find a better working product who is going to launch their token/coin you can quickly buy that similar to BNB because such coins usually have high demand depending on their utility and it derives their price to a greater extend giving us immense profits. Also trading with BNB is giving me good profits even in the bear markets.

Actually all altcoin is very suitable for long-term investment, but sometimes traders prefer to make altcoin as a short-term investment asset because it is more profitable even though the profit can be very small, while traders are more likely to make bitcoin as a long-term asset at this time because of the price bitcoin is indeed speculative so when bitcoin prices increases occur of course traders who store bitcoin will get a large profit.

Now altcoins are very cheap and many investors are considering more because I believe top 10 coins will tend to rise if Bitcoin can reach $10,000 in a short time. I think 2020 will be a very favorable year for everyone and you can buy it now because the altcoin season is likely to return in April.

If we talk about cryptocurrency that is good for long-term investment, the most profitable is of course bitcoin.But answering the question
which crypto except bitcoin is good for long-term investment, namely coins / tokens which are included in the top 50 ranked altcoins.
Like ETH, LTC, XRP, BNB and XLM. The five coins that I have mentioned in my opinion have very good potential for long-term investment.
So most likely if we are lucky with hold that coins will be able to generate substantial profits.

Maybe top ranking coins will be a good choice for long term trading because they have demand that is at least better than bottom coins. So, all the choices go back to your own because it's useless when many people who provide input for coins traded but you are afraid or hesitant to start, then all the input you receive is not done as it should.

that's a major coin and it's not not a big deal but i remember if ethereum is less on its volatility right now. I personally always try to trade with any coins that already listed on binance and i don't care so much about what kind of coin as long as it has a very good fundamental and that's worth to try. I rarely play with the major coin caused by as a daily trader and i were aiming at least 5% for a day.it's so difficult to be achieved by trading with major coins right now.

For long term trading you have to trade with something stable coin. Though you can't big profit but another thing is your risk is very low. Personally i recommend two coins namely TEM which one is not CMC listed coin but it’s very future brightest coin you can trade from coinall exchange. SXDT is too much profitable coin specially for the long term trade.

Most of the time I trade big market cap coins like ETH, LTC, and XRP because I'm looking for liquidity. Those coins volume are still nothing compared to BTC but my trading size isn't that big either so it's acceptable. I used to trade only on Bitmex because they're the only reliable margin exchange so far but recently Binance has caught my attention too with its variety of pairs.

So, that's my recommendation: big cap coins on big, reputable exchange.

You're aware of bitcoin as the best crypto to be in the long position but if you want to look for any other crypto and start investing to altcoins for long position, you need to put some time researching what coins you have to buy.

Getting a crowd involved with your question is okay and reading the suggestions that we'll tell to you is also okay but, it wouldn't be enough to justify your way of choosing a coin that you'll be investing.

I would advise you to hold some portions of bnb and bch aside from bitcoin. These coins has the biggest potential to reach a rising value, when the market begins to show any progressive development.
Actually we may find it so hard to find those promising one, but if we're choosing a trusted asset, it will soon fulfill our financial goals within a long term timeline.

I would suggest you ICX in the past but ICON price is going to south despite they been making tons of progression but the demand is still not there yet

LINK should be good as the coins recently overcome the bears and the bulls is trying to lead
