Two coins: BTC and ETH, as these are likely to be the top-performing coins in 2020. Other alts can be quite tricky but in all, you should time your entry very well.

Oh, you might want to look into XRP and ADA.

Hello people! I'm just wondering.. Aside from bitcoin, what are the other crypto that you are trading? And do you have any recommendation? Thanks in advance..

I think that you should take a look at XMR.

I assume what you meant by long trading is long term trading, not that you want to long something (which we are implying here). Monero has one of the best fundamentals out of all altcoins in the cryptospace right now, which is a lot to say given the fact that it is decentralized, it has a good community, as well as the fact that it is completely anonymous.

It may not produce the best short term returns but it is generally very stable and you will make sizable returns in a bull market overall.

I would recommend bitcoin and altcoins that were able to still have a good liquidity despite the market is bullish for 2 years.
There's a lot of choices in the market, we can check it here - https://coinmarketcap.com/

one of the rules I follow is to check its trading volume to see if people are really interested in trading the coin, and we can sort that in CMC.

a lot, you can trade altcoin in the top 20 on coinmarketcap. such as ethereum, ADA, LTC, TRX, XRP, WAVES, STR, LINK, etc. this is altcoin with good trading volume. so don't worry about losing value or scam. out there are lots of trading coins losing volume and scams. so to still be able to trade. choosing good exchanges and coins is a good idea.

Generally, Trading is for short term, not long term. it means that you dont have to care with project itself
all you need to care is volality. as long as the coin gives good volality, then you can stuck with it
so, all coin is possible to trade with. just looking coin with advantage to your own sake
You are right, the most important thing in trading is how high the demand is. when trading in a high market there will be a profit if we trade coins with a high trade. always pay attention to trade charts.

Well, I'm currently trading a few of altcoins. But if you're looking for something to trade or to invest, it'd be better if you do your own research.
Most people in here are only telling what's in their bag, well, more or less. My advice would be try do some research on major altcoins, or the ones that has a high daily volumes. You could check the history of their prices and etc etc. It's a lot safer to invest on the one that has a good volume than new altcoins. Don't forget to only invest what you can afford to lose, because not everything is as planned.
Actually of OP is asking for suggestions then peoples would actually only suggest the coins they are holding means the coin they have in their bag because they might have their own research on the same.

Always making a research before investing in any of the coins is much necessary as investing without any research can make you have only loss. Also some of the newly launched utility coins might have lower volume but even they might give immense profits in the coming future because of their nature of yield. Markets would never run according to your planning so you always need to re-plan according to the market movements and invest accordingly.

You can diversify your investments with a smaller percentage into newly launched utility coins so that you can gain some high yield profits from their by being their early investor.

I personally chose the short term on TRX for now, because it follows the price of Bitcoin.

Tron is also good for the long term, prices have remained stable in the 150-300 sat area, this coin is very good for the monthly profit portion because many traders actively trade it.

To avoid possible headaches in the future, don't choose those coin that have just started to get listed. Don't risk too much on these types of coins. If there are coins that are going to be the best in long term investment, choose those that have already made a name across the world within and inside the crypto environment. Consider ETH, LTC, XRP.

those three coins are moving faster than other altcoins when the price of the btc goes up, the reputation also doesn't need to be doubted, especially eth, you're right. But no need to worry for some new coins, the most important is how the coins develop, you can start researching good coins like Tezoz and Tomochain.

Many options for Altcoin that can be traded, but you must analyze first. at least 10 coins are popular in the Coinmarketcap with a strong volume and community. I personally chose the short term on TRX for now, because it follows the price of Bitcoin.

bitcoin is the best coin to invest in, if you're looking for altcoins i think it's best to just stick with top altcoins with good reputation like ethereum, other than that it's better to invest some of your time in researching, don't trust people here throwing which coin you should invest, it's really important to do your own research so invest some time.

You didn't read OP's question. He was asking about good coins aside from Bitcoin!

The best answer is coins that are widely available, have high volume and are visibly following Bitcoin. I'd choose BTC but if you really want to trade something else try ETH or BCH. LTC is also following Bitcoin so trading it is like trading a more volatile and weaker version of the king Wink
You can also try one of the possibly promising coins like EOS, BNB, BAT, but it's risky.

I recommend automatic or the latest origin protocol.
from my point of view both tokens have good potential at the beginning of this year and it does not rule out the possibility of continuing until the end of the year.

I trade litecoin and BNB daily. not in the long run. especially for BNB's assets, there is a huge risk when these coins are very dependent on their contention. there is a risk of being discarded at any time but in the short or daily I think the trading chart of these two coins is good enough for you to try.

I only like to hold Bitcoin because this coin is good for investors and in January the coin is improving greatly. I believe that in the near future Bitcoin can reach $12,000 if the market continues its uptrend. In addition, you can also choose some new coins because these are the coins that are very many investors and it is easy to raise prices if good news appears.

That's just my thought and the decision is still up to you because everyone has their own investment strategies to make a profit in the crypto market.

looking at current price increases, I began to think that BCH and BCH SV are coins that are good enough to hold. that's because I see the price fluctuation sensitivity is very good. in fact, we can see the current price increase even exceeding the percentage of bitcoin. however, if BCH and BCH SV are not in your portfolio, this can be a recommendation.
because of the increase in bitcoin, I think almost all altcoin has increased. but as you said, the BCH and BCH SV charts have a good increase. unfortunately, I once saw that BCH SV was a bad asset and was not suitable for me to have. and now maybe everyone is getting interested because the movement is also promising.

for long-term trading, Ethereum, doge, trx, xlm, this is a good and stable coin which follows the current market conditions, even though it is not in top performance, but if we follow the flow of those coins, it can make a profit even though it is not large too . For fast trading, you can search for and see from the top 5 coins that have high volumes, just don't buy that much yet, a little with a volume that is not too far away. And if you want to be patient, you can switch to old coins which are indeed stable.

Top 10 marketcap is already the safest to invest. People must recommending it too, but don't forget to set a stop loss don't care how sure you are about your investment, because in crypto anything could happen just like before the MATIC coin, one of top marketcap coins experienced some problems that could make the price destroyed

Any crypto with a high volume. There's always plenty of activity to buy and sell. For months I've been in the process of trying to dump a particular coin, but the volume is so low.
