Bitcoin and Ethereum are my long-term investments, but before investing in any currency, you must understand the basics. Check out his white paper and technical team. Altcoins are generally profitable from short-term investments, but be careful not to be fooled.

I am a newbie who has just entered the currency circle, and I am very interested in the crypto market.
I want to try to buy some coins, but now I lack the analysis and judgment of the crypto market. Which cryptocurrency is more valuable and has appreciation potential?

Obviously, most of the people here would advice you to go straight for bitcoin or any other well established altcoins out there. Also, I would suggest investing just a little, let's say about 10% to 15% of your total capital just so you can have a good feel about how this industry works first. It would also be a great thing if you would consider prioritizing on knowledge and wisdom investment(related to this industry and how it works along with basic trading fundamentals). Because that would give you a huge advantage over the huge number of people who skip this part.
Of course its the most basic thing to do before you decide into investing. You probably won't know how the market moves and how to invest or even trade if you don't make any researches at first and come up with good analysis.

With coins to invest, you know you have to work it on your own. You can't just believe what mostly are telling you to do. Have your own decision and stand for it. There will be consequences at first but later on, you will start to learn the lessons on your own. Bitcoin and ethereum will be the top choices for the people but you also need to research on it and weigh things out.
for beginners maybe we need to research to invest in bitcoin and ethereum, but for people who already understand cryptocurrencies, I think in general they believe in eth and btc in investing, so they will only look for the best time to buy it, so that the profit they get there will be more later

New users are recommended to choose Bitcoin with higher security.
Bitcoin is relatively stable and has the longest history of development among cryptocurrencies. The number of bitcoins is limited and cannot be issued at will. It is scarce, so it has good investment value. In the long run, Bitcoin as the mainstream currency among cryptocurrencies, has great investment value and appreciation potential.

If I were you I'd wait till 2022 for crypto market to go down and buy at low price, it's stupid to believe that bear market isn't coming back but I'm looking forward to bear market by early 2022, hold your money and wait till 2022 you will get more quantities of the coins

I think that is a great strategy regardless of the circumstances of the market, in the several exercises that have been conducted to try to create the best portfolio possible while altcoins can give more profits at the same time it is almost impossible to select the right altcoins for your portfolio, so in a portfolio composed of bitcoin and altcoins bitcoin ends up producing most of the profits of the portfolio, a few altcoins gain something and the rest go to zero.

With most of the established cryptocurrencies having a market cap higher than $10 billion, or even $50 billion, the potential returns are limited if you invest in these coins. For example, Bitcoin is now trading at $33,000 per coin, with a market cap of around $600 billion. That means that you can no longer expect 100x or 200x returns by investing in this coin, as happened in 2013 or 2016-17. If you want that much returns, then you need to go for new projects. But then the catch is there - many of these projects are scams, and only a small percent of them will end up as successful.

..but now I lack the analysis and judgment of the crypto market.

This will be your problem. How can you able to follow some suggestions if you are lacking analysis.

Even how good those suggestions coins are, it's still on you how will you able to profit from them.

Try to stick with one first, e.g Bitcoin since you are looking for long-term. It doesn't mean you have to buy a whole portion of it but fractions should be fine. Try to adopt the experience of trading or just a simple holding and when you think you are ready now to choose other coins, then that's the time you will challenge the much more risks.

At this point, Bitcoin looks like the safest and most attractive option. Check the price charts for the last 12 months. Most of the alts have gone up by 10x or 20x (in case of shitcoins such as Doge, the prices have increased by more than 100x during the same period). So at this point, the vast majority of the alts are neither safe, nor fairly priced. On the other hand, Bitcoin is looking attractive after the recent drop from $62,000 to $33,000. IMO, I would allocate at least 70% to 80% of my funds for Bitcoin at this point.

As a new investor, you can invest in mainstream currencies like Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of encryption and has existed for more than ten years. Faced with various government suppression, it has withstood the test of the market and has an important position in the encryption market. And it has perfect technical support, which can bring high profits to people.
Or you can choose to diversify your investment and choose several safer currencies to invest less capital. Decentralized investment can also reduce losses.
No matter what kind of cryptocurrency you invest in, evaluate and judge the value and growth potential of a currency, and only those who judge and invest by themselves have the confidence to hold it for a long time.

Many people would surely say the safest and best option for the cryptocurrency that is good for long term investment would be Bitcoin itself of course not just because of its popularity but also due to certain reasons that it has already proven how worthy it have been for the past few years on which is surpassed many ups and downs and different challenges and have remained to the top and still continuously benefiting many people that have entrusted their investment into it. There are other cryptocurrency in the market worthy for investment but that would be your own personal choice already if you would stick into the popular ones like Bitcoin as preference.

You'll have to decide it for yourself. We have some experienced to tell like coins that we have chosen for long term investment but this will just give you confusions because we have a lot to tell.

Just a piece of advice, choose wisely. DYOR and consider those coins that have a good trading volume and on the top List in CMC. Any potential goin is worth to hold because cryptocurrency may flactuate any time that will give you some profits in time.
I would say that learning form others matters a bit as well. Like for example read what people do prefer, and then make your own research afterwards, because if there is nobody suggesting a coin then there is usually no need to go check that out neither. Of course we are a small sample here and we should not be looking into that, but at the end of the day if we are looking to make some money then we should ask this question everywhere we find, even check what people invest in other places as well, twitter and reddit is a good example.

After you see which coins are so hyped by people, then you do what you say, you pick your own coin because what everyone else says doesn't matter, they may suggest bad coins, but nobody will not suggest good coins neither, pick the good ones among the bad ones and you will end up profiting from it in the long run.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are relatively safe investment currencies. They are all stable coins, and they have a long time to market and have good room for appreciation. Although there are certain price fluctuations, generally there will be a good callback after the decline, and long-term holding will have good returns.
Invest in altcoins cautiously. It may bring high profits in the short term, but it is also easy to run off and have great risks.

The first cryptocurrency that comes to mind when considering long-term investments is Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is the most popular and secure cryptocurrency and the investment in it is relatively profitable. However, investments in other cryptocurrencies can also be made in the hope of making more profit. My favorite long-term investment in Bitcoin as well as Ethereum, BNB, Trx Etc. quite good cryptocurrency.

As a newbie you should forget for now about the appreciation potential that you speak of, which is nothing more but about the profits you can make, there is no rush, take the time to understand more about markets in general and about this market as well, and once your knowledge has increased then you can make an informed decision, if you enter the market now even if you follow a good advice the next time you do this you could follow bad advice and lose money that will be impossible for you to recover.

Currently, the movement of the cryptocurrency market is not favorable, The Bitcoin price went from 65,000 to 35,000. Located on the sideway, With Bitcoin, as well as all coins, falling sharply, it makes sense to wait until a new trend begins. Keep an eye on the top 10/20 coins of https://coinmarketcap.com, study them, you can buy other things including Bitcoin when the new trend starts.

Actually this incident is not surprising at all since there are so many things like this happen from the past so its up for you to decide on what you need to do since if you get upset and pack up then you will not earn anything, butnif you have good instinct that this is a good buying opportunity then this could provably make you earn more money once the market recovers. I don't want to suggest any coins in the market so do a good research and better to select those top coins in the market.

Buy some coins is not recommended if you do not know which coin you should buy. You need to research for that coin but you can invest in bitcoin as other people did. Bitcoin will be more valuable than the other coins, but you should have some altcoin to help you make another profit and check ethereum, bnb. Those two coins will be enough, especially if you have bitcoin so you have three coins that you can make a profit in the future. You need to make a plan of how you will going to buy those coins and need to determine how much money you want to use for your investment.
