It depends on your budget, I suggested bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, cardano and nem. I seen a good potential to these cryptocurrency. But take all of the risk if you buy them because of volatility of cryptocurrency.

Well, i did split my investment for several parts
1. about 40% is BTC
2. about 15% is ETH
3. about 10% is XRP
4. about 10% is DASH
5. about 10% is ADA
6. the ret various ALTS if I see they have potential

All cryptocurrency are profitable but if you want much profitable I will suggest to you to but bitcoin because if you see the value of bitcoin in market right now, you will see the rising value of it even it is expensive to buy. But if your money is not enough then some other crypto that suit to your money, also you never loss money because there are all profitable.

You shouldn´t just hear the opinions of the people in this thread and you should do your own research. Many will tell you that you should invest in coins where they have money just to pump them. However you should take a look and research about Intense Coin. His current value is very low and it looks very proming. It increased his value in almost an 80% in the last 2 days.

If I want to by today Cryptocurrency my choice will be obviously Bitcoin only. As a close watch on the performance of bitcoin it not yet disappointed any one whoever invested in bitcoin. The performance of achieving the new height of rate it get corrected and sustained there for a while and bounce back to the next level so my ultimate choice will be bitcoin coin only.

If your going to buy cryptocurrency I think its better if you buy bitcoin even it is expensive but gives you a lot profit. Also bitcoin is increasing day by day its value so many peorle are now attracted to bitcoin. Then its better if you buy it at lower price and sell it at higher price by that method you can get more profit.

I think it is the best time to invest in ripple as it is growing day by day and has became the number 2 in the market value and giving the investors a great profit and they are touching a great heights and the best thing the producer of ripple coin in now in the list of big billionaires and has earned a lot by setting this type of currency in the market.

Buying Bitcoin and Eth will safer and profitable for long term.But Ripple is on the fire these days... so i think BTC,Eth and Ripple id the best ones.. 

For me if you can afford to buy bitcoin then buy it because bitcoin value is much higher right now, but bitcoin price is expensive. And if you want a cheap to buy but profitable I suggest to you to buy ethereum. Maybe its depend what cryptocurrency you buy if how much money you have right now,  all of them are profitable but its up too you if you want to buy in higher or lower price.

Along with btc I think some of the altcoin should also be bought . We have seem massive growth in a couple of days of some of the coins so investing in the altcoins can help you make some quick profits by staying invested in cheap coins.  Make some portfolio of various coins as well.

BitShares, Ethereum Classic, SingularDTV, Zcash, Litecoin and Stellar Lumens

1. BitShares

I think BitShares looks like a lot of people are buying it for a huge amount now. This is my second purchase recommendation. BitShares rose as high as 40 cents, maybe even 45 cents before, and recently actually dropped to 6.7 cents.

2. Ethereum Classic

this is a coin of other purchase recommendations. It rises to $ 20 and has dropped to $ 10. I think it has some good potential if you realize that Ethereum may experience many backlash responses to the proof of post and recent changes, then this is the right time for people to switch to the Ethereum Classic.

3. SingularDTV

Maybe buy it is good too I heard there are big plans to compete with Netflix, get stars on board. The price drops roughly from a high of 24 cents, the price may be good or maybe not.

4. Zcash

recently also dropped to $ 167. It has a huge launch of hype and crazy speculation. It has just been drunk and may be a good time to buy some Zcash.

4. Litecoin

Just added to Bitstamp, along with Ethereum. Litecoin is good. I actually like Litecoin and use it to send payments. This is one of the major currencies I use just to make transactions. Litecoin is only pumped up to $ 70 or $ 80, and has just been dumped back under $ 50, this may be a good time to buy.

5. Stellar Lumens

just take the price of a big dump of 4 cents down below one cent. This is a big dump and probably could be bought well. That might be wrong too.

6. Ethereum

Ethereum is worth twenty times, almost thirty times today, Ethereum. There are good opportunities there.

BTC will always have a place in your portfolio, however, I am now eveningly diversifying into a number of coins. Dollar cost averaging is the safest route to take.

Depends on the capital you are. If capital is good buy btc and eth, if the capital is low, then hold low altcoin such as deeponion.
