My opinion would be, both Ripple and Tron if compared to the other , they are very much of the same performance. Though in terms of price value, Ripple is a bit higher that TRX
I think Ripple has the edged against Tron since Ripple has already established its position with high market capitalization. It is also a better investment for a crypto that is backed by banks across the world and also has a great potential for growing up.
Ripple coin is better than Tron because ripple is very getting so popular and most of people are satisfied to invest in ripple. This coin can give the much profit in future.

TRON is way more hyping right now, so for the short term investing I would choose this currency. But if you are thinking about long-term ripple would be way more trustworthy, because it is enough just to look on the projects.

Ripple is made as a digital asset/currency like bitcoin. Tron is made for digital media creators to give them full control and ownership to their content. You're comparing apples and oranges.
