the biggest hurdle here and the main reason why some people refraining from investing in bitcoin is simply put because lack of money, not everyone could be waiting few years just some miniscule gain, i mean its okay if you have the money to invest as much as 1 btc but imagine investing with $5 will you get meaningful profit with bitcoin which know to be long term investment? bitcoin is realy good to invest if you're rich enough, if you at least have big capital in your hand but not so much for the little guy, thats why these people seeking more volatile and fluctuative form of investment so that they could grow their capital, which i can be sure that they will eventually hold some bitcoin at the end of the day when their capital grow enough to be invested in bitcoin.
thats the reason why altcoin pump and dumps thrive even until now its because they are way for earning money for little capital people.

Aside from the ideology that it is the way low capital set of people earn money, I think there is more hype around Altcoins. Are you telling me that if there was no Altcoin, I mean, no single Altcoin, that people would not invest anything they have in Bitcoin instead? Even if Bitcoin has already skyrocketed and there isn’t much gain for people who invest little, we will still see investments. So, I think that people just hope on Altcoins to make money quicker, after all, Bitcoin’s lowest fraction right now is worth nothing but majority still prefer Altcoin.

None of us here would give you the right information. It is like asking question from a retailer what to buy. Unless you have done your research and given opinion on the product you would get multiple choice. Which will make you confuse and you would end up buying nothing.

In that same manner if you ask your friends which property to invest or which car to buy you would end up confused. Investment in anything comes with a lot of risk. Find out yourself what are the risk and then calculate how much risk you can afford to handle if things go wrong.

Do not ask for advice as you will end up confused. Cryptocurrency investment work in that similar manner. Do your own research and then ask about the ones which you feel are good to invest.

If you have been in the cryptocurrency ecosystem space and even though your not active in the blockchain you supposed know the best cryptocurrency to invest in. Or probably you were not paying attention when you started the journey of cryptocurrency. And since you asked in general and not in specific I will also give you in general answer a d all the following cryptocurrencies are good to invest.

The number one cryptocurrency which every genuine man must invest is bitcoin and follow by Ethereum and thirdly is the new project in the Forum which will have a great fortune in the cryptocurrency ecosystem space and it not any other coin or token than ElonCoin. Though it is your choice but look into these ones and make you investment from there. Invest in bitcoin and ElonCoin. ElonCoin will have a lot of years to enter into the peak of cryptocurrency but the starting point for the coin is very good. So it is worth investing.

You are right, mate. Like I always say, investing in altcoins is like staking on different games, and you don't know which one will actually earn you a win or which will give you a loss. You can stake on a game in a very reputable casino, but that doesn't mean that you are going to win the bet because it's a reputable casino; your winnings will depend on the final result of the game you have staked on. So, what I mean in essence is that a project can look very good and promising, and the native token of that project may actually be doing well in the market, but the truth is that those characteristics alone cannot determine the final success of the project. It could be that despite the good start of the project, they might still fail along the line due to some responsibility they might be faced with and cannot meet up to it.

This is very easy to answer. Without a doubt it is bitcoin. You can simply track it since its creation last 2019 from no value to $36k. I will include the next coin since it remained second to bitcoin for many years already. Yes, ethereum is so solid that it remains the second most valuable next to bitcoin. So for me, you don't invest in crypto without bitcoin and then if you're diversifying crypto investments like many of us, ethereum is also a must. After these 2 coins, we can start exploring the other projects and see if they are worth the risk as well and only invest the amount that are willing to get lost.

First of all you should have minimum 1000 dollars so you can start trading.but you shouldn't invest this all money in one coin you should start from 200 dollars invest in one coin and buy in a parts in every dip you should buy when in high price you can sell but I recommend you to research about best fundamentals alt coins not to invest in any one coin

If our investment goal is to gain profits in the near future or not in the long term then of course investing in altcoins is the best. As long as we can be the first to find information about an event or something like that and we enter first, then the benefits will await us. But if we are people who get carried away by the hype and buy because of FOMO then losses will be ahead of us. Yes altcoins are riskier but also have more potential in the short term. So we have to do it quite wisely. That is, we only enter with money that we can afford to lose. And never go all in.

But if the goal is for long-term investment then accumulating Bitcoin is the best. DCA or whatever method, as long as we hold it for a long period of time, Bitcoin will provide profits. So in this case we have to determine first whether we want to invest long term or short term.

Cryptocurrency can generate money for us and can also make us lose money. Little or full knowledge, just follow appropriate information concerning the system, everything will just work out smooth for us, I've been in the system and I solely knows how things projects shoots to the moon and dumps here. The best thing to do currently is investing in shitcoins and altcoins because they're the main projects that will make massive bull runs when the bull season finally comes. We have waited patiently for the high volatility of the system to calm, only then we can shoot our shots at our investment.

If you still have little knowledge about crypto and don't want to do your own research, my advice is to still choose BTC investment as your main choice because it is clear that you will get profits in the future. Almost all crypto players make BTC their main choice rather than investing in altcoins.

But if you already have BTC and your knowledge about crypto has increased, there's no harm in trying to invest in altcoins because there are so many altcoins that have a bright future like BTC. Maybe you could try investing in ETH and BNB altcoins.

I also think that a good choice for the OP is bitcoin. Anyway, people who want to invest in crypto, and lack knowledge just need to choose the best coin in crypto, namely bitcoin. quite opposite i think despite halving and etf news which supposedly increasing dominance of both these coins you mentioned it might instead also helps other altcoin to go up.
the thing with increasing dominance for btc and eth is that they usually get those additional market capitalization from these altcoins but right now you see the market altcoins are having good rally right now and I think ETF and halving will only make the market getting better and better attracting flow of investments that increase in dominance doesn't necessarily need to make altcoins dominance decrease.
the key is more and more flow of investments because of the good news floating around and then the market will thrive even better than in previous bullruns.
I personally have bagged majority bitcoin and ethereum because ETF but i also can't ignore the altcoin that increase massively.

Undoubtedly bitcoin is the best crypto currency to invest in, it stands at the very top alone, and there's a reason that it is like that. It is the first crypto to be created, and altcoins that followed after it, all modeled after it in one way or another. It has far more investors than other crypto coins, therefore it's relevance in the crypto market is far more assured than any altcoins.

If you want high profitability on the shortest term, bitcoin might not guarantee you this, except it's bull run season, but altcoins can be your best option. That is if OP is able to do his homework and choose a credible altcoins, that can be profitable and not fade away with his investment fund.

I'll personally advice him to choose a top altcoin like ethereum, which has a strong market structure like bitcoin. With an altcoin like that, you're sure that it will remain relevant in the crypto market, for a very very long time. Then do more research before buying into new developed altcoins, because of scam.

i agree,

any kind of investment has its own risks even entering the btc market can be potentially risky depending on the knowledge and skills one has but i would say it’s the safest bet of them all don’t misinterpret this investing in btc will not immediately give you profit but in the long run especially with the approaching bull run soon

when you have enough experience in the cryptocurrency scene and have encountered numerous altcoins then that’s when you can start to look for promising altcoins it’s not easy but if you manage to spot an altcoin early and invest on it as the price is still low before it inclines then huge congratulations
