In simple terms, I might say that quitting would be easier for a gambler to do when they are in a losing situation, because if you have run out of funds then logically you will never be able to continue the game even if you still really want to play, there is no tolerance in a losing situation to continue playing, meaning there is no other choice but to stop.

It should be both ways and not only one ways, you already have won so why are you going to risk betting all your money away when you should know that gambling is a game of luck and no victory is certain until it happens. You can win in gambling and lose the money but you don't have to lose everything that you have won before you should quit and stop gambling. People with good money management habit can't have this kind of experience. I think it's only gambling addicts that kind be this dumb to lose all their money to gambling before quitting because they bet all they have won on one game with the hope that it'll double the money that they have already won. Knowing when to quit as a player is going to help you to manage your money well when you gamble hence it's good to know your limit and not gamble over what you planned to spend. Quitting when winning is better though as you go home happy.

That will be the same situation if we lose and still difficult to quit gambling. That is why we really need to know when to quit gambling no matter we lose or win.
And we can know that if we've got plans to quit. But if not, you will not know when to.

That's why those addicted gamblers don't know how to quit whether they win or lose, they just can't help it out.

Quit when necessary and when things aren't going along with what you like and I think that's much better.

In my opinion, it would be easier to quit when winning rather than losing. A person in loss always looks for getting back into profit from gambling even though it may include rage betting and losing more than they can afford.
Seriously, the two are just kind of difficult to quit, and I won’t say one is easy. Most gamblers now are gambling for the sake of money, and immediately they start winning, they won’t want to stop gambling. We all know how greedy people are, and no matter the amount they have won, they will always want to win more, so they won’t want to give up. The same thing is applicable to when people are losing, they will feel pained and will want to do everything possible to win back their loss. Some of them will say that even if they can’t win from gambling, at least they should be able to recover the amount that they have wasted.

If I will be serious, I don’t really know which one is easy to quit because I haven’t been in the position before, but I just think the two are the same, it depends on the mindset of who is gambling, some people won’t stop even when they are losing or winning, and some will stop after losing some amount or winning some amount.

But on the other hand, for the problem of winning situations, I think it depends quite a bit on how the gambler approaches and understands gambling, if only they understand that winning is nothing more than a chance or possibility that will not always be repeated continuously, then of course I am sure that if they have been able to reach $ 500 with a capital of $ 10, then of course quitting will not be too difficult a decision.

If the situation is a big win, it is very possible for gamblers to think about stopping the game. but if the situation is small wins, which are obtained several times and only increase a small part of the capital, continuing the game will definitely be done by the gambler.
This is related to the target or maybe the level of satisfaction of the gambler. if the gambler is satisfied with the results, I think closing the game can be done. if not, then continuing the game is definitely the choice taken.

A person in loss always looks for getting back into profit from gambling even though it may include rage betting and losing more than they can afford. While its easier to leave with money when you are winning. I personally have trained my mind to stop at a limit whether I'm winning or losing but all people don't have that sort of will power and emotions outweighs logic.
In some types of gambling there is some degree of peer pressure not to leave when you are winning and even some physical casino would try to keep engaging you too so you from leaving with huge amount of money.
It will depend on what the typical of gamblers we are.
If we are a typical gambler who always try to push gaining more and more money from gambling. It should be very difficult to quite when we often win in gambling. It is because we must think that there will be more and more wins if we keep gambling. But when we often get losses, it may be easier to leave because we may think that we have no luck in gambling. People who can be easier leaving when they win, they probably only gamble for fun only. They don't really expect gaining huge money from gambling. Also, they must be aware that there is no guarantee to keep winning in the future. Actually these type of gamblers are very logical gamblers.

There are even people that would never quit when they are losing bet, they are very confidence and expect luck to happen to them at anytime. It is good we know what we are doing and how to make proper gambling attempts having alternatives so in case we are losing, we could get how to play bet so we don't just end up losing  too often. I will always advise my friends to always stop gambling when they are losing bet. Although sometimes we need to know that some quick winnings are trap to make us lose along the way. We might start gambling on the first day and be making huge amounts of money and along the side we are surprised that we are losing bets  after some attempts.

This is very tricky, I myself have stopped gambling for some time because of the consecutive losses that I got from here I thought that I could only stop gambling when I lost but out there there are many stories that I heard about people who stopped gambling when they won, it makes me salute them.
I have been gambling for years, starting from sports betting and slots, to stop completely, my intention is no longer there because when I try to stop, I will return to playing with excessive intensity so that for now I am only trying to make my level of defeat very minimal.
That's your own view which is very ok. However if you will agree with me not all persons can do the same and that of course is a bad habit too. Many people fail to know when to stop gambling and that infact is part of the things that contribute to gambling addiction sometimes. Some persons when they are winning let greedy over cloud their judgement and end up staking more than they have to till they eventually lost all they managed to accumulate from previous bets.

On the other hand some people have the bad habit of over staking just to cover the losses they had in previous games and as such they continue to stake over and over again which is wrong. If you observe when people try to forcefully collect their losses back, they end up losing even more. That's actually because they are unable to think straight.

It's easier for some people to leave gambling if they see that they are spending too much in gambling and are not making any single profit from it. Some people have the habit of leaving so easily.

While for some, that point where they notice that they have spent much to gambling is when they will want to put in more pressure to make sure that they can get back what they have spent in gambling, but instead of regaining those, they will still end up losing more.

discipline in the game is something that comes with experience and years. It is really difficult to come to terms with a loss and leave the game without trying to win back. I have also encountered this. The solution turned out to be very simple: a pre-allocated budget for the game that you don’t mind losing helps you cope with a bad mood for games and you need to give yourself the attitude that I am playing only for entertainment and a fun time and not the goal of hitting the jackpot. Then it will be much easier to watch the games.

Regardless of winning or losing, quiting is one of the most difficult decisions in gambling but since the question is which one is easier, I think it's easier to quit when a gambler is winning than when he's losing. For instance, if a gambler is winning, he's most likely to quit immediately he incures loss in his gamble but when a gambler is losing a lot of money in gambling, he'll want to recover all before quitting.
This is my own opinion about the subject matter, do you have something contrary to my opinion?

I know that as gamblers, everyone can relate to this question, as we have surely experienced it in real situations.

Suppose our bankroll is $100 and it has already grown to $500, would you quit or continue? Conversely, if with our bankroll, we are down to $10, would you still continue or save the remaining $10? I used specific amounts to make it easier to discuss this situation. I understand that we all gamble with different amounts based on our income, but consider this as an example. You can mention any amount you want based on your personal experience; it doesn't matter.

When to stop gambling depends on how you control your gambling. If one is involved in making money then it becomes really difficult to get rid of gambling. There are many who go to the point where they can't control their greed in order to get profit from gambling and thus they face losses instead of profits from gambling. There is another class of people who go to the point of losing money, where they keep betting repeatedly to recover the money they lost earlier, and eventually become bankrupt, but still cannot stop themselves from gambling. That is, no matter what we say, those who can control themselves from gambling can refrain themselves from gambling under any circumstances and those who cannot control themselves cannot control themselves from gambling under any circumstances.
Some of the points you have given for regulating gambling are correct. First of all you should abandon the tendency to only earn money while gambling and start taking gambling as a form of entertainment. If you gamble for fun, it can reduce your risk of spending money and prevent wasting time. This method can be much easier to control if you can add it to gambling. Second, you can limit time and money allocations such as a particular money allocation and time allocation per week to reduce the risk of losing extra money.
Gambling is not as many take it, they always seek the money which causes the issues they face, and fine, if one can gamble for entertainment, it will be okay, but I wonder how the industry would be if people were sincerely gambling for the fun and not for the money, it would be more boring instead of the fun and will garner little success. The belief of making more money drives people to gamble if we would not deceive ourselves and I know it will remain like that. But we should tell ourselves the truth even if we gamble for the money or fun, let's just be reasonable with both. The right calculations and plans are important in having the correct budget and management both financially and time-wise. Controlling ourselves by being disciplined would also go a long way.

There are some people who are addicted and no discipline or control will help them. They are physically unable to control themselves and it is in fact a disease. I think it is necessary to impose on people from childhood that gambling should be played casually, that it is only a game, as the name implies, and you can't make money on such games, you can only have fun on it and you can't get used to it if you win all the time.

It's good you where able to set a target and stick to it, not everyone has such trait, it takes discipline to do such because when someone who's benefiting from a particular thing no matter how risky it is, if they don't have self control, they could get carried away by the benefits they're getting from it and gradually become addicts, however the major thing that makes it difficult for people to quit even while they're having much losing streaks is lose chasing, but if someone is not very wealthy enough to afford such habit they could gradually quit. Well in conclusion, it takes discipline for people that fall under such categories whether people with much or less winking streaks to avoid gambling addiction and that's just it.
It might be a plan of qiut at a tatget point or winning after a target amount. But the target must be break after reached the target and it will be higher than the initial target and once again will break when it reach and it will be higher again and that will be reach but will be brocken once again and it will continue like this way.
That's what happens when you have a winning target as a gambler because when you hit that target, the greed factor gets activated in your brain, and it persuades you to push the target ahead, and then you convince yourself to gamble more to achieve a higher target that your brain has told you to achieve since you have already reached your previously decided target.

This is the reason why it's easier to stop gambling after hitting a losing target because no one would like to lose more but everyone would like to win more. So, even though I would always recommend gamblers to stop when they have won something on top of their deposit, I feel many would do that, but when it comes to losses, it's important to stop when you have lost a certain percentage of your bankroll to avoid excessive losses.

Yea I can see that happening, pushing the quitting target higher when you are
on a winning streak, I'm probably guilty of that in the past.

The same is also possible when chasing losses, the hole your digging is getting
bigger and bigger and you keep pushing the target further and further away
to get on that winning streak again.

In the end for a lot of gamblers its very difficult to quit for either scenarios!

Of course, this is what millions of people go to gambling for, because players want to change their lives for the better, so that music plays, everything is bright and this player is admired by others. But the paradox is that there are players who do not know that they do not need this, because they go only to play and feel this atmosphere, they think that they will win a lot of money, but in fact it will not change their life and they will not be happy. I would recommend many to think about this, maybe such players should not play at all, because money will not make them happier. For example, there are many players who won a lot of money, but spent it on various nonsense and returned to their usual life, which became worse than it was before the game ...

In gambling, we already know that everyday usually comes with its streak of good or bad luck, it's possible you can start gambling now and you will be making some profit but the next minute, you may start to experience lose, it could also be that when you try to gamble the next day, you will experience more lose than the previous day, so I just suggest that a gambler is the one that really decides when they will quit  and when not to. If you have experience a good streak of profit, you can take a brake and if you have also had a good streak of losses, then it's best to take brake.

For a gambling player in a casino op, if the gambling player has self-discipline, surely the bankroll of $100 might only turn $200, then it will stop immediately to take out the $100. So, how much more? If it becomes $500, of course the $400 will be withdrawn immediately.

If the gambler lacks self-control and discipline, he will likely think he can win more because he is holding or luck is on his side, making it hard for him to quit at once.
And this is most of the time happened to majority players in the crypto casino gambling platform.
