Of course, it's easier for me to leave when I win. But I know that for many people the situation is the opposite - it is harder for them to leave when they win. I consider this a sign of a gambling person. After all, a person subconsciously begins to think that if he is lucky several times, then he will be lucky at least a few more times. This way, passion awakens, which then makes you lose everything. Of course, if I turn $100 into $500, I will be taking at least $450 out of the game. Thus, no matter the outcome of the game, I will be a winner. If I lose and have 10 dollars left, I will not hesitate to leave this money in the game.

But turning 100 into 500 aint easy. Really hard will be to do it with one or two bets. If you have already turn 100 into 500, wont it mean that today is your lucky day and it will be a call to continue? I have noticed many times, that in gambling a "double your money" rule kicks in often. People who who won 500 from 100, will withdraw 200, but will continue gambling for 500. Honestly, it is hard to imagine that a person who turn 100 in 500 immediately withdraws and leaves casino. Imho people set an amount they can lose from that prize, and continue gambling.

If I start to gamble with $100 and my winnings reaches $500, if I still have the time to continue gambling, I will continue. As long as I'm winning I'll likely keep going until I start to experience loses, it's only loses and time spent on gambling that can make me to stop. If I start with $100 and I start to lose till it remains $10, so far the $100 is amount that I can afford to loose, I'll also use the remaining $10 to gamble. It's not advisable to continue gambling when your bankroll is drastically depleting but can decide to continue when on continuous winnings.
That is the bottomline when we gamble, as long as we can afford to lose then that's what matters.

So whichever amount we have and we cannot afford to lose that, much better to avoid gambling with it amount.

I guess everyone has that mind that when our money reaches to $10 and when we have lost already, we do not mind to continue and lose it.

If we see that there will be loss and no gain by holding on then we should give up. If money is lost one after another in gambling then one should stop and start gambling again. The mistake that most gamblers make is that they don't give up even after losing several games and they wait for one more win as one match after another goes against them. If at that time the gambler takes a break and starts gambling again, it will be easier for him to decide to gamble later than before. Since we cannot gamble without money, we must think how to keep this money safe and how to gamble with relatively low risk of money.

That is very good and is thought expectation that really looks easy to do, gamble and win until you continue risking money until you lose and then think about starting to stop.
But unfortunately, I not sure that this kind of attitude can really be established easily considering that every gambler who wins and continues to bet means showing an attitude of dissatisfaction with the achievements he has achieved, obviously there will be other bad attitudes in the future.
After series of wins and losses, there will be no thought of stopping because there will be thoughts that feel more challenged to return to betting and get the amount of money that has been lost, all of these attitudes will always coexist.

But if you are really able to accept it and do everything as you have said then I would say that you are great gambler, there is sense of responsibility and limits that can be set.
So far there are still very few gamblers who can have an attitude like that, so hopefully in the future there won't be certain conditions that make you able to change you mindset and attitude in gambling.

A responsible gambler doesn't wait to lose it all before quitting what they do is that when they noticed they are gradually draining up they would paused mostly when the exact amount that is map out for the gambling for the day they don't mind stopping for that very moment with any available balance. After few days they can go back and start their games again to make winning thus it's said winning is not define but sometimes after quitting for that very day and you go back next you could be lucky to win the next day.
I consider myself a responsible gambler as I only gamble with what I can afford to lose. I think for the most part to be a responsible gambler, you have to know and accept that gambling is only a recreational activity and not a means to make money. However I can understand the addiction of chasing losses, recently I found out that I might have a scrolling addiction. I’m always watching videos on TikTok and find it hard to stop even when I have something else to do. I think it’s the same for gamblers, even though they are losing they just can’t stop playing until they exhaust their balance.
If initially I have prepared money that is willing to lose I will continue until the money runs out, but that doesn't mean I want to continue experiencing losses and if my initial capital has doubled I choose to stop not continue and enjoy the wins I obtained before I change my mind.
However, if from the start my betting capital shows no signs of increasing, I will continue until the capital runs out, I do this because I already know that gambling is just a game and losing when gambling is normal.

That is the thing we are supposed to do but it is the opposite thing we see. The more they lose, the more they gamble chasing losses. And the more they win, the more they spend time looking for another big win. It is too difficult for a gambler to become responsible when already addicted to it.

Quitting is not in their mind whether they win or lose, they even commit loans to stay on gambling.
If we quit, see to it that we don't have any gambling access, otherwise, we no longer expect such a thing.

Suppose our bankroll is $100 and it has already grown to $500, would you quit or continue? Conversely, if with our bankroll, we are down to $10, would you still continue or save the remaining $10? I used specific amounts to make it easier to discuss this situation. I understand that we all gamble with different amounts based on our income, but consider this as an example. You can mention any amount you want based on your personal experience; it doesn't matter.
If my $100 grow up to $500, I might try to quit for a moment, and then will go back and gamble after a few days. Cheesy Now if my $100 goes down to $10, I will not save the remaining money and will gamble it until I lose it all. In the end, I will lose it all at some point in time.

The thing is, quitting in gambling is very hard to do. If you're winning, you will have this feeling of getting more profit by spending more time to gamble. On the other hand, if you're losing, you will have this feeling of not stopping until you recover your initial funds. Now to choose between the two, I would pick the "quit when losing" because you will not have any money anymore obviously to gamble unless you will try to borrow from other people.

I definitely think it takes more self control to quit when you are winning, because I've seen many people who get carried away and overconfident after some big wins. In reality they just got lucky once or even a few times, yet natural variance will bring their earnings crashing back down to earth if they over stay. When you're losing, each time you hit empty on your bank roll is another opportunity to step back and re-evaluate whether you should continue playing, yet often just losing your wallet once is enough for most people to abandon playing for the session. It's impossible to give an answer on what you would do in the situation, because everyone likes to think they would get in and out at precisely the right time but reality is much different.
What you say is correct, indeed when you win, the temptation to continue betting becomes stronger so it is not surprising that many of them find it difficult to withdraw the winnings they have obtained, they tend to continue gambling even though they have won. and maybe that happens because they get so carried away that they can't stop when they win. Apart from that, those who can't stop when they win will definitely continue gambling because they really want to get a bigger win than what they've already got, unfortunately actions like that tend to only allow them to lose back the winnings they've already gotten.
Of course, everyone has different thoughts, not only those who can't stop. Even though there are wise gamblers who can stop at the right time, it is certain that there are more people who lose self-control when gambling. Even when they have lost badly at gambling, they can put their money back in to gamble again because they want to recover the winnings they had previously obtained but lost again.

Suppose our bankroll is $100 and it has already grown to $500, would you quit or continue?
Quitting or continuing depends on the gambler, because most gambler will be glad seeing there bankroll increase, and will see it as a compounding power to increase there stake. While some will see it as opportunity to cash it out expecially when they haven't win such amount before.

Conversely, if with our bankroll, we are down to $10, would you still continue or save the remaining $10? I used specific amounts to make it easier to discuss this situation.
For me, I will continue because if I have made up to $500 and lose down to $10 without cashing out when I had the opportunity to do so, I wouldn't border anymore when it's $10. may be when the price was withing $400 or $300 I didn't cashout out, it will be hard for me to to cash out $10. So I better use it for more stake.

I know that as gamblers, everyone can relate to this question, as we have surely experienced it in real situations.

Suppose our bankroll is $100 and it has already grown to $500, would you quit or continue? Conversely, if with our bankroll, we are down to $10, would you still continue or save the remaining $10? I think having a limitation in everything you do in gambling is going to help your journey and well compose in gambling. If you are going to have a limit on your initial bankroll, it makes sense to say that gambling atleast once in a day in weekends is going to make you enjoy gambling and if you want to, then all good. This way, you will know when to stop gambling after hitting s big amount or you have a lost later in gambling, this practise will help you.

If you have a bankroll and you have a tight gambling policy, even your bankroll is going to look healthy with minimal loss, but when you gamble too much in a week, the more loss you might encounter and the more addicted you can become with over gambling, this is why gambling discipline is very necessary to protect your initial bankroll and maximize profits.

Stop when winning: If a person is able to stop or interrupt his gambling session when he wins a bet, then that is an awareness that should be part of his gambling plan. Self-control and anticipation of the possibility of defeat in the next attempt can be minimized when they stop, of course this is the smartest choice rather than continuing their gambling activities greedily.

Stopping when losing: This is just the end of a session and they stop because their balance runs out. Like it or not, gamblers have to stop after they have no balance in their account due to losses, meaning they close their gambling session because they are forced to, not because they want to stop. Some gamblers actually make re-deposits to continue their gambling activities in different sessions, and often they lose everything because they are chasing winnings.

Stopping when winning or stopping when losing is sometimes difficult for some gamblers, but gamblers should be able to stop at any time regardless of whether they are winning or losing. The smart choice is to stop when winning, it allows the gambler to enjoy his winnings and have fun.
When you are winning then the primary thing that comes up into your mind:
1. What if i would win even more on the moment i would continue?
2. Its my lucky day kind of line
3. Greed kicks in hardly

When you are losing then this is what you do have in mind;
1. What if your next bet will be a win and recover all the loses?
2. Emotion impulsiveness
3. Trying to bust it all on your next bet

The key on here is that you should really be that making yourself that responsible on the actions that you are taking because on every bad decisions or choices
you would be making. If you would really be that mindful about those possible conditions or situation you might be facing on then you wont really be that
trying out to neglect those possibilities and would act accordingly on which one is right.

Literally speaking, if I'm the only one in that situation of gambling like you're saying here, if I win my $100  and it becomes $500,, well, I won't think twice about taking out the $400  right away and leaving the $100  in my balance. Such strategies are made by a gambler who is no longer really addicted to gambling. But if I am an addict, I will probably continue to gamble because greediness is also there.

Now, if it comes to the point where I lose my $100  and there is only $10  left, I will continue to bet the remaining $10  because if I lose the $100, how much more can the $10  be? , right? I didn't regret the 90 dollars that I lost; it was even less regretful to lose the 10 dollars.

A gambler will definitely find it difficult to stop after winning a gamble because the bankroll will be larger. The joy of victory will make it difficult to stop at that time. That gambler will have a belief that he can continue the winning streak. And even when losing occurs, some gamblers will try their hardest to bet there. He will think that if he wins, he will recover his losses. At some point when he runs out of money he will try to continue his gambling even if he borrows. Finally when he cannot afford any more bets he will give up gambling. Considering these factors, I would say that it is easy for a person to quit gambling when they lose because they lose the ability to gamble.
Bad habits that often occur among the gambling community, namely not cutting profits after getting a high win or not stopping betting after experiencing a high loss and tending to follow emotions to risk all their funds, even though they hope to recover losses but only have low odds that can be achieved . However, never gamble with borrowed funds because it is very risky rather than losing your own budget funds, the risk is that you have to pay on time or the interest on the loan will be higher, the most fatal risk is that you will experience depression because the creditor continues to chase you to pay the loan.

Difficulty controlling emotions and greed to win more are still the main problems experienced by gamblers. Most gamblers will continue to play even after making $500 in the hope of increasing the amount of winnings they just achieved. Instead of keeping the remaining $10, they will continue playing because they are annoyed by the loss they have just experienced. There is no longer a target of the remaining $10, whatever the outcome is, it doesn't really matter because the emotional level continues to soar.

The gambler's target is to win, but some gamblers often ignore it when they get large amounts of money. Feeling satisfied with what has been achieved will give you peace of mind when gambling, stopping for a moment is the best choice rather than continuing to play which causes the money you have won to shrink again.
