Investment is not throwing your had earned money into any project for all it promises to offer. You should have an average knowledge of the investment that is being introduced to you, be make necessary investigation and you are convinced of the prospect before signing the dotted lines.

This is too obvious. But in the time of rising inflation and the loss of value in life, society and economics. People are interested in small interest rates in the long run from banks. The difference is clear. So, bitcoin is great for investment when you get a good space to buy it for as low as it is now.

Bitcoin is more riskier than bank investment no doubt about that. But it times of benefit I will say that bitcoin is worth the risk because though bank investment is less riskier but it can never give you what bitcoin can give you

Bitcoin investments involve more risks than bank investments. We know that there is a lot of instability in it's price. Many up's and downs are seen in it's price on regular basis. This instability makes it riskier to invest in it because we can't predict that whether the price will go up or down after we invest.

Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

Both bank and bitcoin  investments are risky and in all other investments. Yes I agree that in bank investments, there are a lot of extra and hidden charges that was not discussed in the initial offer. They will also take advantage of you to take the chance to invest, the interest is alao low because the bank are the one who will benefit from you profit. On the other hand, on bitcoin, you have full control on how, when and where to invest without thinking of paying additional fees and your profit will be yours alone.

very risky bitcoin than the investment in the bank because when the bitcoin price drops dratis it will be disappointed really .. but also will be lucky too if the price is very high .....
I am so new with this community, but with the statements I heard and read I prefer to invest some of my savings upin bank for security purposes. I feel more safer in bank. About in investing side I will still invest in some bitcoin project in the market. I just feel that bitcoin investment and purchase are riskier than investing in bank.

In my opinion, the risk of any investment is same it doesn't matter if you invest in cryptocurrencies or bank. If you believe in blockchain technology, then you should probably ignore investing in banks because the returns are meager in bank investment comparing to cryptocurrency investments like ICO's and IPO's for the short-term.

whether investment or other things if we are greedy and impatient then failure is we can only get, how many times or how much money you spend you will fail, maybe once or twice you will earn profit but it is just luck and you can’t depend on luck, you must have the right mindset to achieve success.

Yeah i think bitcoin have more risk than common bank investment. If you put your money in the bank, the value wont change.
But if you put your money in bitcoin, there is no guarantee that your money will stay the same. Either your money value can increase or decrease.

Bitcoin is more risky but it also offers a much higher gain. If you put your money in a bank it's going to be safe as long as the bank doesn't go under but you won't gain a lot. Bank investment is a small risk but the profit earned is very small too...

The author of this topic surprises me. How can you compare banking investments in which you can receive a maximum of 7-15 percent in year. There are even such banks, in which the investor during the year does not have access to their funds until the contract expires. Yes investment in crypto is very risky, but in them the investor always has access to their means and has a chance to receive 100-150% of profit per month.

Bitcoin is more risky than bank investment. Bank investment has an intervention from the government and there is a guarante at some point for our investment if something went wrong.

For sure whenever you have your full investment in your control you feel more secure and more comfortable but there are so many people that don`t want to get bothered with the stress and may leave the choice to the others such as banks or 3rd party brokerage firms.

the reason why there is bank on our world is because we need security for our money ,as a financial management student  I understand the concept of a bank . For your problem it seems that you are not well aware of your surroundings (Im pertaining to financial aspect) and is lacking of control on your money . First  if you will going to compare bitcoin to bank , bitcoin is like a stocks from a stock market where you can trade it or hold it ,I think the bank purposes you a mutual fund,  so  if you look at it , there are different types of investment there . If you think you area a good trader then you can trade in bitcoin or even in stock market , the reason why there are mutual fund is because they are the company who is well known or have a knowledge about investment. Bitcoin is a high risk investment it might fluctuates any time just like stocks.

I think bitcoin investment is more risky than banks since bitcoin is a digital money and we know how easy something can be hacked online .But... it also depends on that how is your knowledge about all this. If you are ENOUGH careful with bitcoin you will achieve definitely bigger refund than refund you'll receive from banks .

Both, but the most risky one goes for bitcoin. Why? Simply because bitcoin price changes everytime unlike to the bank, investing to banks is good but the profit takes a long time for a lower interest. Unlike to bitcoin if you invest the profit comes in bulk for a mid time but the assurance is not strong enough 'cause there is a possibility that the price could drop as lower as zero.

People have been burned before with bank investments. If you are careful with your crypto investments the return can be much better.

Bitcoin investment is obviously riskier than investing in banks but you can make more profit if you invest in bitcoin. However, bitcoin does not always make you rich and it is meant for long time investment. You invest an amount then you will wait until the price went high. In banks, you can assure that your money is safe but you cannot rely on the interest to make profits, I am pertaning to savings account since it is the simplest way to invest in banks.
