Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?
all still have risks but I think investing with bitcoin has a very high risk, for me with a high risk advantage gained great too

investing in bitcoin is more risky than investing in a bank. at this time already many people who can take a bitcoin wallet. investing in a bank also has risks because we can not control the money we have invested.
I prefer investing in bitcoin because I am free of the bitcoin I have, I can get a bigger profit than invest in the bank. we have to be very careful in keeping the bitcoin purse we have so people do not know the private key of the bitcoin wallet that we have.

i think both of them is risky. In my country, if you deposit money in a bank. Dont care how much you money you deposit, the bank will only return to you maximum is 75 million VNĐ (~ 4000 USD) if bank hacked. That is so funny.

And if you invest in crypto currency, you can lose all of money you invested (Project scam)

So, i think any investment is risky But more risky, you can get more benefit

I think bitcoin is riskier than bank investment Because bitcoin price going with very high fluctuation than fiat currency. When wanting convert in fiat currency for reason, we have to wait for a some to bank process. Most of the time we have pay additional fee as bank payment. Bak is safe but it profit also very small. When considering the profit, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are best investment method.

Indeed, bitcoin is much risky than bank investment. The bank are more secure than bitcoin but in investment the bank is much lesser than in bitcoin. In bitcoin it can grant you big money of you know how to handle it unlike in bank it will only give you a small amount of investments

For me, bank investment can be well guaranted as the type and low profit because there is no risk and even then there will be low risk involved later. The decision depends on your country of origin. In the government's approach to bitcoin and the taste of people if most of them feel good then it will be good. Some other criteria you need to consider everything and consider the best for you in the future. Cool
You are right. Our countries are in the hands of the governments and one attack from the government on Bitcoin causes the people to panic and begin to opt out from Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin investment is much lucrative and can be less risky  if you understand the rules of the cryptocurrency market.

Anywhere you put your asset is risky whether it be bank or invest it on Bitcoin. The advantage of bitcoin is it's decentralized aspect. Banks on the other hand is the opposite of BTC. If I were to choose then I'd choose investing on BTC because you have the better control of your asset there.

I can see that the majority here in this topic says that they prefer Bitcoin's risk rather banks. I can't agree more because I have so many bad experience with banks. And not just me but many that I know have the same bad experience. In Bitcoin, you are the manager of your asset. You know where it goes and how much it profit and loss. That's why banks don't agree with Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. They see these altcoins as competitors. It's a slap to the banks. People learn to handle their money. We learn to make ourselves rich not making the banks rich.
In some point its true that it's safe being the boss with your investments but as to the continued attacks with the crypto, where million dollars investments were stolen still it's risky. thats the only weakness i see compared to banks. Bank's can be breached too but each investors have their statement of account and passbooks wherein those investments can be refunded or made as evidence for refund and you can take legal action on that matter which is opposite in the decentralized ecosystem.

bitcoin investment is more risky rather than in bank investment.Since bitcoin is decentralized, thr givernment nor the banks doesnt have any access about it.The difference between the two,is in the bank you can get in touch with the bank officials regarding to your savings or investment but in the bitcoin industry, all you have got is the trust to the person that youve invested.

You entrust your bitcoin to other people? Is that what you mean? If so, then you're doing it the hard way. You should be the boss of your crypto asset.

I think bitcoin has a greater risk than investment in the bank. because the value of cryptocurrency is very volatile but can promise bigger profit than bank. banks have less risk and fewer profits.

In my own personal opinion, bitcoin is more riskier than bank investment because bitcoin's price starts to decrease but bitcoin is more profitable than bank investment that will help to earn a huge amount of money that you can used to pay all of your expenses. Unlike banks you don't get huge amount money but it is safe.

Yes Banks has lower risk with low interest rate. Banks is also safer than any other institution and it can give you cash whenever you needed it in emergency reason. Bitcoin have higher risk with higher gains of investments. If you know how to handle your money the future is safer because you can have money to finance your own business.

it is true, all types of investments have risks, be it bitcoin or bank. but banks are better than bitcoin, because in my country bitcoin can not be accepted by the government. and in my opinion the weakness of bitcoin is, there is no clear law on crypto, therefore very much fraud occurs. but bitcoin can get a huge profit,
