Is this for real? Social Media is the best and the easiest advertising tool as of today. Why? People nowadays are fond of using this social media especially Facebook and Instagram. These tools can maximize the reach of your promotions as long as you presented it nicely. Plus, if you're promoting uninteresting topic, products or spam referral then expect that people will definitely ignore it.

Really? Social media and forums didn't work on you? Maybe your ads are not interesting or you are flashing them to the wrong audience. Know first to who you are selling to and where they usually look into. If its for the general public's consumption, them try aesthetically improving your ads or making it more catchy or making it to appear more often enough for your product to retain in people's minds. If you have tried all of those to your ads in social medias and forums, then maybe it really has to do with your audience. If your product is intended for the higher class, then consider creating a website and make sure it appears among the first few results when you search for your product. Or try some other marketing strategies that will separate you from the rest of the competition: free delivery, free item, discount upon first purchase, refer a friend, several modes of payment?

Social media is one of the best way to promote products or links because the product that you promote will be instantly viewed by your friends and it has a possibility that it will be shared to others which opens another door of being viewed by the people on under the friends list of the one who shared. Unlike in forums, only those who are registered and goes to the thread or post with the link will be able to view the product that is being promoted, you also have to consider the number of members of that forum.

The best way is posting on social media its free and convinient. Admit it or not, it is the best way to spread news, or trends specially today. Well, if you do not want this kind of advertising, you can pay an ad company to promote your product. Hassle free but costly.

Yes I agree, it doesn’t mean that if you posted it already on social media platforms like Facebook and twitter after, you will not do anything. Nope it’s not that, that’s the reason why most companies and sites do campaigns it’s either forum by signature or bounty or even websites and blogs. It is a continuous process and a chain marketing strategy that needs time and capital.

Probably you do not have a single idea on how to make use of social media and forum effectively, that is why you call them shit. I cannot even see the best way to promote link better than on forums. Design a good signature and drop it on your forum account. Infact, my twitter account alone can drive me lots of traffic to my link.

I disagree. Forums like this can be a great way of raising awareness for your product as long as you're responsible, post in the correct section and don't spam. But by far and above the best is social media.
