Always watch with a bet but the game must come first imo, if you are to get distracted and have to constantly manage a live bet then you can end up losing parts of the game which is unfortunate. Nothing wrong with a bet you close early because you already got most of the profits showing and want to just enjoy the game, I find if its open Im still distracted a bit so I will close out at least half my bets on a game so I have less to worry about at times.
Depends on the game also, some games dont turn out so interesting to watch so maybe you dont care and let the bet run if its viable or not worth closing out.

I have watched games that I placed a bet on win and lose so I've been on both sides of the situation. Being on the losing end stings a lot and will make you lose the entertainment in watching the sport if you're not careful. I'd say 8 of 10 times you watch the game and your bet losses, you don't get to enjoy it as much as your thoughts would be centered around your bet most times and you'd get very nervous, very quickly.
However, if you're on the winning side of a bet while watching the game, the feeling is around a magnitude more because your chosen team won, you enjoyed the game and managed to pull a payout while at it.

Generally I watch those sports or those matches where my favourite teams are playing. But in the regular basis I took bets without watching just compared those teams before palacement off my odds on bets.

I would rather watch the game without betting money just to be entertained, it seems you are more focus on what you will get from the bet rather than enjoying the game, meaning that you are gambling to make money only, I can't say its completely not alright but having fun should be part of the reasons why we gamble.
If you are more concerned about losing and winning then you are on the journey of becoming addicted to gambling some day, because obviously you can't always have it your way, you will lose most games and win when you don't expect.

It is only fun to watch when your bet is winning. Imagine you have placed a bet when your team is winning, everything is great, and all of a sudden your team is loosing and there is little time left. I dont think that it will still be fun to watch how your team lose and to understand that you have wasted money. And there is a chance that you have wasted money on a ticket and snacks only. I think in such case, it is not just not fun to watch, but it creates a little disgust to betting.
Sometimes when I don't bet on my club, because I don't believe in them. If they are playing the match and it is close to 90mins, in which my teams is losing. If their game pattern does not show that they can equalize the goal, I do stand up and stop watching the game. Talk more of when I stake my bet, and the team that I bet on is losing. I would not be comfortable with watching the game, because I will conclude that I ha e lost the bet, and there is no hope. That is why I don't bother watching anymore.
