Man i think many ppl here dont like win 8 , but they dindt ever test this OS. I am telling you: Instal win 8, test it for a little and then tell what you think
I did, I attempted to tolerate it for two months. Infuriating in every way possible.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. It's considered unsafe to use, because of spying features.

What spying features you are talking about?

So far it ain't bad (Win 8.1), it works on the same hardware as my Win 7. I didn't run into any problems, besides being unable to run one old game Unreal Tournament. But might need some tweaking with compatibility.

Was running Lubuntu, but now running vanilla Ubuntu on development box and server.

When I occasionally need Windows 7, I launch it in VirtualBox.

Two years ago I ran three barebone miners on Mint.

I also have an Mac mini at my vacation home that I needed last year for iOS development. While there I usually launch Ubuntu, again from VirtualBox.

Windows 7 for now, its much much faster than Vista. But then security issues are with every version.
Windows 8 is such a waste, it looks like a Mobile OS running on a desktop, so useless.

You are afraid of new changes? ahahah

All people say that... I say that in begining, now if i use a win7 pc i dont know where are the things, because with win 8 its much easyer and quickly Cheesy
