Looking to get into Mac. It's going to have a bit of a learning curve though, because I've been using Windows all my life.

I am a Microsoft Windows user! Smiley

I used to work on a Windows 7 until Microsoft develop Windows 8 and 8.1. There is a big differences between Windows 7 and 8. The way how Windows 8 is turning on is quiet faster then win 7. Also, when you press shut down, the PC is going off in a few seconds. When I install this version I was really shocked from the results.

The layout and design are similar to win 7 but with some upgrades. What I have really discover was the way how the windows work on games. Before I run DOTA 2 I install the new updates from N-vidia and then I run the game. When I play the game on win 7, there are few details that I couldn't turn on, but now the game run on a full audio and video quality.

The only problem that Windows has and Mac and Linux don't are the viruses. I think that Microsoft don't care or like some conspiracy theory telling us, they intentionally create viruses so they can spy their users...

It really depends upon how you plan to use it. Linux is generally more stable and secure, while Microsoft is easier to use. Linux and Unix are better as servers, while most people use Windows for client machines since there's more software available and end-users know how to use it.
