Now is the right time to use hardware wallets.  Because they are more protected.  But they have a minus they are much more expensive.  But I think it's worth it.

Before now  I have been using Imtoken for my etherium and erc20 tokens but since discovering Trust wallet, I have since made it my primary wallet for erc20 coins and coinomi for the bitcoin and other non erc20 tokens.

Which perks and features should one look for in a wallet?

Thanks in advance

I like secured, reliable, user-friendly wallet and of course one with low transaction fees. I really enjoy using our local wallet since it has a lot of functions, you can actually convert your bitcoin to either eth, xrp, bch. Along with that transferring to other wallet as long as it's from tha same local wallet is free. Wecan also use it to pay bills online, shop and a lot more.

I am sure that the main advantage of the wallet is its safety. You must be sure that your assets are protected. Hardware wallets are the most secure in my opinion. Their cost is very small compared with the benefits that they bring to their owners.

I think it's high security and low transaction costs. Coinbase is really a great wallet and it helped me trade thousands of dollars. It is completely safe and the transaction fee is very cheap.
I transfer ETH to exchange and the fee is 0.1 $. It is always low and so it is trusted by many traders.

But if i am not wrong coinbase is a web wallet and web wallet dont give control to you so it is not recommended to use web wallets because any time they can ban and your all funds will get locked. Even if they get hacked your wallets are also in danger. So always use hardware or desktop software wallets which have control with you.

First, what coin do you want to use ? If you ask about Ethereum, then the best wallet for newcomer is myetherwallet.
If you want more secure wallet, use the metamask extension as your ethereum wallet.
Other coins than ETH such as TRON, i think using Tronlink wallet is good enough.

I prefer using both types of cryptowallets - online MyEtherWallet  and cold-storage hardware Ledger Nano S .I have been using them for two years already and I am very satisfied with their high-level security.

yes, i agree with you, a hardware wallet is very recommended,,
because the security is higgher, if we comparing with the others wallet

In my opinion, just increase the security features, because there are still many wallets that underestimate the security of the wallet. Like 2-step authentication, like Mew which has been used a lot, he doesn't have that feature even though the feature is very important

It depends on what would you like to do..
Personally I prefer to use Electrum (Bitcoin) and MEW (Ethereum) and particular lightwallet  for strong / rare transactions, while using for 2 cents and fast access other wallets like Jaxx Smiley
I would recommend you wallets in which you can choose tx fee by yourself. I remember that one time I installed a mobile wallet taking 0.01 ETH as a gas fee (and that day the minimum gwei for transacting was 3 gwei)

If you are looking for Mobile wallet to support all coins then i will recommend you to use Arax wallet.Just go to play store or Apple store and search for Arax wallet. They have all types of coins to store they are just not limited to ERC-20 tokens and BTC. Lisk, LTC all you can find there.

If you can, invest in the hardware wallet as every other can be easily breached if your device gets compromised. Usually I would recommend Trezor, but they are pretty slow in adding support for more currencies, so if this aspect is important for you, go with Ledger.

The price of cold wallet is quite expensive and unnecessary, anyone must have it. For example, many people invest in crypto, they only exchange their money on exchange and can sell them via OTC at any time. And the cold wallet I think is for the big holders

As you know various wallets are available in market and also new coming day by day so if you wants for ERC20 tokens than you should use EJIN wallet.

The avto had to describe in more detail what kind of purse it is looking for!? Is online wallet or cold wallet? whether multi wallet or wallet for 1 currency or for 1,2,3 major currencies. if the author needs an online wallet with 3 major currencies then think blockchain will suit him

As a hunter, I trust one purse mew. I don’t consider other wallets because it’s the easiest choice. Not all multi wallets support new coins.
There are not only mew which supports tokens , for example take eidoo , or trust wallet I heard also supports erc20 tokens
Actually, wallet is not only for tokens. Maybe good wallet must can save almost all coin especially big coin like bitcoin and ethereum. Maybe if MEW can save bitcoin, will be good for them because old bitcoin wallet already support Ethereum.
